Amara's POV:

When I got back to the hotel I took a long hot shower then a nap. The nap was needed because I needed to reserve my energy as much as possible. I slightly woke up to my room door opening. Not bothering to look because I thought it was Lily, I continued sleeping. That was until I felt the bed dip and arms wrap around my body. That's when his scent reached my nose.

"I'm sorry" he whispered. My eyes slowly opened. "I'm sorry about this morning." I turned over to look at Jungkook. "I know what I said was fucked up and I hurt you. I was just upset."

"Your words cut me deep."

"I know. I'm really sorry. Today was miserable without you by my side. I hated it and I don't want it to end with you being mad at me. What can I do to make things right?"

"Never say that to me again."

"I promise." There was a small moment of silence. "Am I forgiven?"

"I don't know."

"On my way here, I thought about everything, and I get why you called him. There was no one but him that was by your side all those years. I understand he was all you had. And I shouldn't have said you were using me. You didn't deserve that. And I know you're not. I'm sorry baby." I looked into his eyes and saw how much he regretted his words.

I took a deep breath before saying, "Okay, I forgive you."

He pulled me in closer and kissed my forehead, "How much blood do you have left?"

"Not that much. I'm gonna have to go out of the city to get more."

"Just be safe."

"It might not be safe." Jungkook slowly pulled away from me. "The reason why I left Paris was because the forests here are crawling with hunters. They might still be."

"Then no. I'm not gonna let you go out there and risk your life."

"Then I'll be risking everyone's here if I don't. Jungkook I have too. For everyone's safety including yours."

"But what about yours?" I sighed heavily. "I can't lose you."

I placed one hand on his cheek giving him a soft smile, "You won't lose me. I'll be right back. I have to go while I still have the energy."

"Please come back to me."

"I promise I will." I kissed his lips before getting out of bed. I went into my bag and drank all the blood that was left over, then grabbed my flask. "I'll be back as quickly as I can. I'll have my phone on me. Just don't call me. I'll call you if anything."

I was about to open the door when he stopped me. He pushed me against the wall and kissed me. A passionate kiss was delivered on each end. He pulled away then opened the door. He looked both ways before letting me know it was safe. I looked at him one last time before speeding my way out the hotel and to the forest.

Everything was quite when I arrived. Crickets filled my ears. Along with the sound of leaves flowing in the wind. I focused my sense of smell and hearing really hard to find my pray. I walked along the forest quietly until I heard rushing footsteps. I quickly jumped on a tree and hopped on the first available high branch.

As I looked over, I found two men running towards each other.

"Did you find anything?" One asked.

"No, did you?"

"Nothing. Let's keep looking."

"Boss, we haven't seen a vampire in these part of the woods in years."
