"She is asking me to meet her in 30 minutes in Mall X." Ohm frowned and said to Rob.

"Haah!" Rob sighed, defeated. "I need coffee." He got up and left the desk.

Ohm shook his head in disbelief. "He will die of coffee intake one day." He mumbled.

He looked at the time, and it was lunch break. He checked the distance of the mall from his office, and luckily it wasn't far away.

So he quickly texted Rob that he would meet him post-lunch and picked up his bag to leave.

He dodged the gaze his manager was shooting from within the cabin and rushed to the parking lot.

The mall was 10 minutes away from his location, so he decided to have something to eat before meeting Nancy.

As he reached a burger joint, he ordered a large burger meal. Having less time to eat, he decided to stand and eat at the stall.

While he was half-done with his burger, he saw Nancy walking across the lobby. He scrunched his brows when he saw her with a guy.

"Did she call me to meet her new boyfriend?" Ohm mumbled.

Somebody bumped into his shoulder, and he turned to see a boy who seemed lost. "Oh sorry."

"It's ok." Ohm said that and smiled at him. The boy smiled back at him briefly before taking out his phone and turning to the other side, mumbling, "Where is Oat now?"

Ohm ignored him, shrugging and gulping the remaining burger, and threw his tray in the bin before walking in the direction of Nancy.

His phone buzzed, but he ignored it. But by the time he could catch Nancy, she was already in the elevator.

Ohm's phone chimed again, but he ignored it and ran upstairs from the escalator. But by the time he reached the elevator, he couldn't see Nancy anywhere.

His phone buzzed again.

[Annoying-N: Where are you?]

[Annoying-N: Do you see me?]

[Annoying-N: I hope you can see me.]

Ohm scoffed, shaking his head. "So, she wanted to make me see her with her boyfriend. Wow!" Ohm mumbled while drafting a response. He stormed off downstairs, then to the mall exit, and then to the parking lot, and drove away as soon as he could without looking back.

[Despicable-O: I don't wish to see you at all.]

Nanon gaped at the text while he was standing at a stall in front of a burger joint. He shook his head with disbelief.

After reading Oat's message, he decided to stop texting him and at least call him once. "You can't keep me hanging on this. If nothing, I'll at least give you a piece of my mind."

He dialed the number. The ring went once, twice, and three times.

Nanon was adamant. He hardly calls out to anyone. But when he does, he never leaves it midway.

So, he kept calling him till he reached the mall exit.

Finally, on the fifth attempt, the call was picked up.

"Why is she calling?" Ohm frowned and ignored the call while he parked back below his office building. The phone kept ringing, though. Ohm turned it on silent mode with vibration on. But it did not stop annoying him when the vibration kept on going.

So, by the time he reached near the elevator, he decided to pick up. "Annoying-N!" He greeted with a clenched jaw the name that he was reading on screen before picking it up.

[Annoying? How dare you?] A male voice startled him. [You, Despicable-O!] the voice said.

Is that her boyfriend? Ohm thought confused. And why am I despicable?

"Listen I..."

[No, you listen. I am done with you. Because of you, I cannot trust anyone now.]

"Dude, your girlfriend is anyway not trustworthy. Not my fault."

[Don't you dare call my project like that. Yes, I love my project, but that doesn't allow you to disrespect it by saying it's my girlfriend. Listen, I gave you many chances. But now I have reached my limit.]

"Hang on, what the hell are you saying?" Ohm asked, frowning.

[I FUCKING HATE YOU!]

Ohm paused.

"You... what?" Ohm asked.

[I SAID I FUCKING HATE YOU FOR RUINING MY PROJECT. NOW HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO FINISH MY CODE?]

Ohm raised his brows. So, all the while, it wasn't Nancy who was calling him?

Ohm was so shaken, he had to lean back on the pillar to understand that he had been riled up for nothing for so long.
