Ohm came back to his room sad as Rob looked at him confused.
"What happened?" He asked, walking towards his friend with a beer can in hand.
Ohm sighed, snatched the beer from him, and gulped it down in one go.
"Hey, hey, hey, easy, my friend. It was the last one I had in the fridge."
"I got dumped before I could even start dating." Ohm said, slouching down on the floor, leaning his back on the couch, and looking up at the ceiling.
"Wow! That was really fast." Rob mumbled. Ohm slapped his leg, making him fall to the couch.
"It was Nancy." Ohm said.
"That bitch again! What is her problem? Hasn't she moved on? I told you she was sick!" Rob mumbled, getting up and walking into the kitchen. He brought back two beer bottles in hand.
Ohm looked at it and frowned. "Didn't you say it was the last?"
"I meant last can. This is a bottle. Duh-uh! Is that important right now?" Rob mumbled, placing himself on the floor besides Ohm.
"I am not able to understand my fate. Why am I so unlucky in love?" Ohm mumbled again.
"I know... This one was the wrong number anyway, right?" Rob mumbled.
Ohm side-eyed him, making Rob look away and gulp a sip down from his beer.
A doorbell startled them both.
"Open the door, man." Rob said.
"Hey! I am heartbroken. Have some sympathy." Ohm snarled.
Rob shook his head and got up. But instead of opening the door, he pulled Ohm up. "You need distraction. Go open the door."
Ohm sighed but decided not to bother arguing anymore. He dragged his feet to the door and opened it.
"Why did you not wait for me?"
Ohm kept staring at the man who was scowling at him at the door, bewildered at the situation.
"What? Now you are not going to answer me? You asked me out on a date today!" Nanon snapped at him.
Ohm frowned. Rob walked to the door, gaping in surprise. "Nanon?"
"You are?" Nanon asked, confused.
"Hi! I am Rob."
Nanon shook hands with him with a varied smile but then turned his attention to Ohm, who was frozen on the door.
"Ohm. I am running out of patience here." He said he was taking a step closer to Ohm.
Ohm now realizes that he wasn't dreaming as Rob punched him in the back.
"You... You are not... I mean... You..."
Nanon's face turned from annoyed to smiling, and he burst into laughter.
"Come with me." He said that and held Ohm's hand, pulling him along.
Ohm turned to look at Rob, who was grinning wide and giving his friend a thumbs up as he was pulled by the boy that he was mourning over a minute ago.
As they both reached Nanon's building, Ohm finally asked what he had been asking the whole way, but Nanon asked him to wait. "Can you tell me what is going on? You ran away from the café, seeing Nancy and me. And then you showed up like nothing happened."
Nanon smiled and took out his phone. He started typing something as he spoke. "It's good that all this is happening today. It will all end today."
Ohm got terrified. "Are you ending this before we even start?"
