Chapter 21: Dance of the Sabzeruz

The Akasha Terminal is a unique piece of Sumeru technology invented by the Greater Lord Rukkhadevata and further developed by the Akademiya. It is capable of granting the user any sort of knowledge they desire to have. 

Although it brings great facilities, the Akasha is the reason why Sumerians are unable to dream by harvesting their Jnana Energy. This is how you will trap the people of Sumeru in a samsara. 

You squeeze your hand slightly around the Akasha Terminal.
"May the Mighty God bless us with their voice of wisdom."

As if it could hear you, the Akasha slowly disappears from your hand to appear near your left ear. These words do not need to be spoken sincerely, but if one activates it in a public space, they better be sincere in their words to not face some weird look coming from Sumerians.

Dottore's Omega build looks up at you. You cannot really tell his expression at the moment, but you are sure he is cringing internally at the formula.

When you look down at him, the Akasha analyses his face but shows an error message. You believe that it is due to the fact that the person standing in front of you is a robot, not a human. 

"How long do you plan on staying in this samsara?" He finally says after a long silence. 

You think for a second but shrug in the end.

"A few days maybe? I need to note multiple things about samsara; it could be useful in the future." You look back at him, "And perhaps some people might notice a problem."

You smile at this idea. What if someone manages to get past this loop? It would be interesting to know how they manage to get their consciousness back.

Since tomorrow is the Sabzeruz Festival, it could be a great opportunity to create a loop on a day that is supposed to be special to some. Some spies were sent to learn about the main actors of this Festival. Once you have received the list of the people, you decided it would be best to use the dancer Nilou as the host of the samsara. 

And as being the host, the samsara shall continue as long as she doesn't realize this is a dream. 

Though Dottore sees this as a good weapon, you are mainly interested in it for personal use. It is one of the best opportunities to control the population and it would be hard for them to escape the strings. Only what you wish.

This samsara thing is more boring than you thought. NPCs are repeating the same thing every day and it easily became boring. And to add, this experiment started giving you a headache, but you know it is due to the exposure to Akashas. 

But well, it allowed you to see who this blonde Traveler is. He's a short young man with braid and dark weird clothes. He has a floating fairy by his side that has a very annoying high-pitched voice. 

In your opinion, he would certainly try to mess with your experiment. He seems to already have noticed something is off while it is only the third day. 

Sitting at a Café, you note down the observation you made recently. You also write about the mental fatigue you have due to the Akasha. It would be better for future experiments if the Fatui didn't fall ill.

"Excuse me sir, would you mind if we ask you a question?"

You immediately look up, surprised to see someone talk to you. It's a samsara, a dream; nobody should be talking to you if they hadn't on the first day of the samsara.
