The plan was risky. It had started great, but it became stupider and stupider as it went on. Setting up the portal with Melon and looping around the street was smart, but my plan to get all my friends upstairs without the staff members having a clue . . . that should've been a fail. Yet somehow it succeeded.
And now we were back inside the maze. The thought of it sent shivers down my spine. I never wanted to return after hearing what I had done — because it was where I had killed ChiLynn — but I reminded myself that it was necessary to come back. "We needa know if Hypixel's been deceiving us," I explained. "But to do that, we need to hear more about everything."
"And you thought of Supreme_moo," guessed Kiqy.
I nodded in confirmation. "I don't know if he'll talk to us. He said he had something to do, I think. Hopefully he's done with that," I said. I then glanced at Kiqy. "Also, thanks for keeping a cool head back there. You probably saved all of us, Kiqy."
"Yeah," agreed Ferbooper. "Like, man, I nearly messed up, and I wasn't doing much."
"Just quick thinking," she said, "like what Flawed did."
I wasn't sure how to respond, so I looked all around hopefully. No, no cloaked figure in sight. "Well, he's not here right now," I said. "I'm pretty sure this is the place where I met him the first time. . . ."
We waited for a moment, hoping for Supreme_moo to conveniently appear. But alas, he did not. "I'm not sure if this is the right plan, Flawed," said Typo irritably. "I didn't like this place two hours ago, and I don't like it now."
"It's a crazy risk, running from admins," said Ferbooper. "We aren't even sure yet that he's a liar, right?"
I sighed. "I can't help but think . . . we need to figure this out. 'Cause it just doesn't make sense," I said.
"You're right, it doesn't," said Kiqy. "After all, Supreme_moo said he wasn't a staff member. But didn't he claim that you shouldn't trust Hypixel? Unless Hypixel has some extreme agenda against you, we can assume that Supreme_moo is not on Hypixel's side. But if that's true . . . who is he?"
"Yes . . . exactly," I said, thankful that she was justifying my actions. There had been little time for me to fully flesh things out, after all. "We just need Supreme_moo to pay us a visit. Then this can all get sorted."
"What if Supreme_moo is some bad guy?" asked Typo. "Could've gotten a staff member's help, if he isn't one already."
"I mean, Hypixel lied about The Sword," I said. "And after telling me stuff about the past and the artifacts, he planned to erase my memory. Really, he may not have been truthful at all that day."
"I have to give it to you, it's a decent argument," said Typo. "Hypixel is also quite distrusting in the bigger picture, sending so many staff after us."
"Then are we all in agreement that we need to find Supreme_moo?" I pleaded. I felt tired of this debate. We were wasting time. Though, I guess we were waiting on Supreme_moo, so it didn't matter.
"I don't trust Supreme_moo, but I do trust you, Flawed," said Typo. "But let's be honest with ourselves: he's not showing up. So what do we do?"
"I wish I could say there was a way to find him," I said. "I think we'll just have to wait."
For a while we did wait, relaxing on the sodden ground. But he wasn't showing up. What was his problem? Why didn't he appear to help us? His information was the only thing we needed. Maybe . . . maybe he wasn't on our side after all. Otherwise, surely he would help us, right? But he was probably just . . . busy, like he said: There is too much to tell, and for that matter, too much to do. Believe me when I say, that when all of this is over, I will tell you everything. . . .
