CHANGED. A better story

CHAPTER TWO: THE WHITE WOLVES

While continuing to walk down the hallway, I found a room with clothes. I quickly looked around for something that would keep me warm. Eventually I found a nice hoodie and some pants. They kept me very warm, and I felt better about not walking around in my boxers. I exited the room, and as I did I heard a noise. I quickly looked around, trying to find what made that noise. I then see to my right a white gooey creature. It looks like a fox, and it's standing upright. It looks at me and I look at it. Eventually it makes a weird noise at me. Maybe it's saying hello? I wave to it slightly to see if that's what it's trying to say. It looks at my hand like it's confused, and it walks up to me and holds my hand. Its touch is so wet and cold, and it made me flinch and get goosebumps. It looks at my hand while holding it, and then it holds its other hand next to mine. The gooey fox sees I have five fingers, but it has four, and it looks at me like I'm special or something. It's honestly pretty adorable!

Eventually it stops paying attention to my hand and looks up at my face. It then feels my face as it makes soft noises, like it's trying to find out what I am. At this point I'm kind of enjoying this, it's cute seeing it trying to work out what I am! I then try to speak to it, and say: "hey, I'm a human if that's what you're wondering." When I finished talking it looked at me even more confused. It tilted its head at me, and really didn't seem to understand me. It tried to repeat what I said, saying: "Hu.. Humaan?" By its voice I'm guessing it's a female. Now that I think about it, the gooey fox does have a feminine looking body so, I guess it's a girl. I try speaking to it again. "Yeah that's right! I'm a human. What are you?" I say in a slow and clear voice to her. She seems to understand a little, and she starts to make little whines. I guess she's trying to speak? She then speaks to me saying: "L-L-Latex, W-woolf." Ok now we're getting somewhere! Apparently she understands a little bit of English!

Hold up. Latex Wolf?.. Does she mean she's a wolf in a latex suit?.. or is she actually made of latex? I pull gently on her arm, and it feels rubbery and gooey. She is made of latex! She looks at me with curiosity, and pulls on my skin as well. She tilts her head as she feels my arm, probably wondering why my skin is so dry and solid, and not wet and gooey like hers. After a while of us just examining the other, she grabs and pulls on my hand, and tries to take me somewhere. "Woah! Do you want to show me something?" I ask her. She looks at me for a moment, and nods her head. She continues to pull me down the hallway, until we reach a vent. She takes off the vent and seems to ask for me to climb inside it with her. I hesitate for a second. I'm not exactly ready to crawl in a vent with someone I just met, but on the other hand she's so cute and sweet. it doesn't look like she would want to do anything bad to me. 

I then decide to follow her, and I ask her to go first and I'll follow. She gives me a happy little smile, and crawls in. I get down on my knees, and start to crawl down the vent with her. We crawl for a long time. My elbows and knees start to hurt a little. I seriously hope we get to where she wants to go soon, because I'm getting tired here! Thankfully I see some light up ahead, and I let out a small sigh of relief. She crawls out and helps pull me out of the vent. I look around in the room we're in, and it looks like a big lab that's been turned into a living space or something. There's bean bags sitting around the place, as well as pillows and blankets. She makes a loud noise, like a high pitched bark or something, and more Latex Wolfs like her come out of their hiding spots! They all look almost the same, some are wearing little bits of clothing like scarfs hats and jackets, but they all mostly look the same. I could barely tell the boys and girls apart!

One walked up to me, it looked like a male and he wore a black oversized jacket. He looked over me, and started touching me like the female Latex did. He felt my hair, and sniffed it a little. He then walked around to the back of me, and felt around my waist, which wasn't the most pleasant feeling.. I guess he was looking for a tail, because he turned his head and looked at his tail, and then back to me. He walked in front of me and looked me in the eye. He made some noises at me, I'm guessing he was asking what I was, since I wasn't like them. The female Latex Wolf then walked up from behind me and talked to the male Latex. I didn't understand what she was saying, but she then pointed to me and said: "Humaan." It sounds like she was explaining to him what I was. He looked curiously at her, and then to me. "Humaan?" He repeated. I nodded my head at him and said "Yeah! I'm a human. Do you.. know where I can find more humans?" He looked at me for a moment, before saying: "Humaans.. Dead."
