The rain was getting heavier, yet you managed to get out of campus without anyone noticing.
You had your soaked, full of tears handkerchief on your head, but it really didn't help much.
You didn't even try putting your backpack on top of your head, due to how heavy it was.
It felt as if the backpack was full of bricks instead of books.
You knew you shouldn't be in the rain, as it always caused you to get terribly sick and down with a fever.
Yet it felt so horrible to stay in that school.
Safe place? Never.
All shops were closed, due to the rain getting heavier by the minute, and thunderstorms were everywhere.
And there wasn't shelter anywhere, either.
"Girl, get out of the rain!" A stranger shouted.
Startled, you looked around, but seems like that stranger had ran away for shelter themselves.
Your house was only a few blocks away now, nothing could happen, surely?
The rain was gloomy, yet peaceful.
The clouds were grey, yet beautiful.
You had entered your house through the back door, where no one was there most of the time.
You kept your shoes there, as you entered into the house and straight to your room.
As you kept your backpack down, you heard knocks on your door.
"Who is it?" You inquired.
"I'm here to check your temperature, ma'am." Maid Priscilla spoke.
"Just a second." You replied.
"Ma'am, your down with a fever of 103." The maid spoke, worriedly.
"I'll be fine," You responded, as you were covered in 2 blankets and shivering.
"I'm sorry ma'am, but respectfully, you won't." She replied back, looking at you.
"Alright, alright. I guess I won't be, but don't, do not tell my mom." You replied, emphasizing on the 'don't'.
The maid chuckled in response. "I'm sorry, ma'am. She is your legal guardian, and it is my job to inform her."
"Wait! Tell my dad. He's also my legal guardian," You replied, smiling.
