| Happy Halloween |

"What are you fucking doing?!"

A familiar voice screamed from behind you. It was your sister. You turned around to look at her, to find her yelling at two older boys who were ripping down Halloween decorations and messing up hours of work. You could sense her frustration. Hours you spent with her, trying to decorate for the Halloween school event. All to be trashed within seconds. Even you, a quieter boy, felt angered by the sight... Though, you were never the one to fight or confront idiots like those.

It wasn't until the first swing they tried to make for your sister did you got involved. You weren't a small guy by any means. You went over and pushed all your weight at one of the boys' sides. It knocked him onto the ground. The second brother attempted to punch you right after, which was successful considering the lack of air in your lungs just a second later. You took in a deep breath. The yelling of your older sister was loud, and she was attempting to help with her measly hits on the brothers, but she wasn't the strongest girl.

It took a moment of struggling before you successfully knocked your fist into the other's face. A bit of blood was on your knuckles by the time the boy fell beside his younger brother. You looked down at them both. The one you previously pushed was groaning on the ground with a bloody nose and what was probably many soon-to-be bruises. Your sister must have been the one to break his nose. You reminded yourself to praise her work later. The second brother who you successfully got a punch back on was lying by his brother. He was more muscular and built, so he had less damage on him. Just a simple busted lip when your ring came in contact with his face.

The sight was oddly pleasing but short-lived. A teacher from inside came to the sight of the chaos. It wasn't a good scene to walk into either. You and your sister towering over two boys who were beaten up and on the floor. Let's just say the teacher had a long discussion with all four of you. You didn't know if it was stupid or justified considering the fight happened on school grounds. But did it matter? The two got what was coming to them.

The rest of the day was uneventful. Just you and your sister fixing the broken decor, along with the help of the two brothers who seemed very upset to be there cutting out paper pumpkins like preschoolers. It was either that or suspensions since cameras confirmed who took the first swing. Serves them right that they were embarrassed.

Though despite everything that took place earlier, something felt wrong to you. Every time you had your back turned, you felt as though the brothers were staring at you. But when you quickly turned your head, they were just talking to each other while angrily cutting their paper. The feeling was confusing, but you thought maybe you had gotten punched so hard in the gut it affected the wave signals to your brain. The thought brought a little smile to your lips. To which, in secret, did the brothers chuckle at the sight of.

"(Your name), can you finish the rest up for me? I have to rush home. My roommate locked herself out the house. Again.." Your sister explained. The usual story of her messy roommate, who could very well lose her own head if it weren't on her damn body.

A sigh escaped your lips but you nodded in agreement. "Alright, head home. I'll see you tomorrow." You said. She had covered for you time and time before, so by the laws under the sibling code did you have to take this one for her. Even though you literally had to fight for her just hours earlier, but... You were a kind brother and knew she probably needed the rest after what happened. And hey,the work left wasn't anything you couldn't handle without her help. You gave her a quick hug and watched for a while as she grabbed her stuff and walked outside towards her car. Once she safely pulled out the campus parking lot, you went back to working on the decorations.
