(And of course, shipping episodes! Look, I love having the plot continue, but shipping is so cute and done well if it is planned properly. -Glares at a certain Ladybug show-. Ahem! Anyway, I do hope I show both sides of falling in love and out of love too. Enjoy!)
Randy was once again running late to work. Howard had already left after waiting for ten minutes, so Randy just had to run by himself. He sighed as he hoped that Director Buford will not be too upset with him for being late. He rushed into the building and made his way to the office. He took out his tablet and began to work as he noticed Howard wasn't here. He shrugged and went back to work until someone pulled up a chair and sat next to him.
"Wow Randy, these look even better" Theresa said warmly as she looked at his animations.
"Ah! Theresa! Wait, really? Thanks! I've spent so many nights trying to make sure it looks good" he answered with a light blush and relaxing tone, "I should have the fourth episode ready to go soon! I can't wait to see how everyone reacts to it. Some of my friends even want to watch it"
"Really? We should do a show night!" she suggested as he grinned.
"That sounds juice!" he answered as she laughed.
He continued to work until he realized something. He never really understood what her job is here. He was about to ask her until Julian approached them. Randy waved to Julian as Julian held a fake smile to him.
"Ah, there you are Theresa. We should get back to work" he said as he grabbed Theresa's hand and pulled her away.
"Oh, already? Alright. See you, Randy" she said disappointed but held a smile and waved goodbye.
Randy waved goodbye too as he sighed in a dreamy manner and noticed that she still smelled like rainbows. Howard pulled up his chair and noticed his best friend's expression. He then pushed Randy as he fell off his chair and groaned in pain.
"Why?" he asked as he didn't bother to get up and waited for a moment.
"Couldn't help it. Also, stop missing our meetings! I can't keep covering for you and making excuses!" Howard pointed out as he looked down at his friend, "And you also keep looking at Fowler! Seriously, do you even know who she is and what you are doing?"
"I'm sorry, but we are searching for the seal. We have to find it. Also, I actually just met her. She works here, and I've got a plan. Okasaan always said to be yourself which I am! I think she likes me!" Randy answered warmly as he sat back on his chair.
"I hope you find that stupid seal soon" Howard grumbled until he realized the other half of Randy's sentence, "Wait, you really don't know who she is?!"
"Uh, she's Theresa Fowler. Actually, now that I think about it, what is her job here? I know she helps with reporting and even helps me with my art. I just don't know what she does at her job" Randy answered as he tapped his head with his finger.
Howard blinked and held a disappointed expression as he was tempted to tell his best friend who she really was but decided it would be funny if he experienced it himself.
"Fascinating" Star whispered as she was reading the book in the library while taking notes about it, "Whoever wrote this book really knew what they were doing"
She flipped the pages as she read some of the notes based on previous adventures and mythical creatures. She turned another page as she found something interesting. The source of all darkness in the seal.
"Now, we are talking" she said as she read the title and was ready to do more research until someone placed her favorite smoothie on her table along with a plate of her favorite plate of cookies, "Huh?"
