(And now we are getting to the good stuff and towards the end of this book! I can't wait to see your reactions to it! Of course, after this, I am not sure what I shall write next for you. I have a few ideas, and I recently got back into Hetalia, so there's that. Enjoy!)
They returned to their homes to rest and prepare for another day at work. However, they still felt a strange, foreboding feeling deep inside. Kim was distracted when she was testing out new gadgets, Randy kept messing up his sketches, Danny couldn't put anything together, and Star couldn't focus on her work.
"Something's not right" she whispered as she tried to put a book back into a shelf.
"What's not right?" Janna asked as Star took another book out of the shelf to see her face!
"Gah! Janna! Why?" Star asked as she fell from the ladder and on her back.
"Because I can. Also, because if you sense something wrong, then that means something is going to be wrong. Have you talked with your teammates about this?" Janna asked as she walked along the edge of the bookshelf, "Because this might be important"
"I don't know" Star answered as she didn't bother to get up from the floor, "After the festival, I felt something strange occurring. I don't know what this is or what it means. I should've told the team, but I felt like I needed to get home"
Janna was surprised to hear this as she sat next to her worried friend. Star placed a book over her face and groaned. She could feel something not right in the air, but she wasn't sure what it was. She wondered if she should've consulted with Magical Instructions about this. She sat up and then went to pick up the books scattered around her feet.
"I'll just check with Magical Instructions after work" Star said as she put the books away as calmly as she could, "I just hope nothing else happens to everyone else"
There was a violent shake in the ground as Star and Janna ducked. Star looked outside and noticed a wave of fire.
"I'll handle that!" Star shouted as Janna nodded to her friend.
Star rushed out and transformed as people were fleeing from the scene. They were panicked as the Inferno was waving his blazing claymore around himself. Witch couldn't think of a practical reason to why Inferno would be doing this, but she has to stop him!
"Hey! Pick on someone your own size!" Witch shouted as she jumped and raised her wand above her head.
Inferno wasn't paying attention to her, so she was confident she could defeat him in one strike.
"Huh? Woah!" Inferno exclaimed as a powerful wave of water washed over him!
"What?! Woah, woah!" Witch exclaimed as she quickly summoned her butterfly wings to stop herself from falling into the powerful waves of water.
"Help us!" a person shouted as she turned her attention to a group of people cornered.
Witch didn't hesitate to dive in front of them. She landed in front of them as she spun her wand. She gathered the electrical energy from the buildings and then slammed the wand in front of her and the people behind her to create a powerful, blue shield with lightning bursting from it. She continued to protect them as she noticed someone was walking through the powerful water.
"Who could be doing that?" Witch whispered until she gasped as the figure was walking right pass her, "Siren?!"
Siren was simply walking through the water with her right hand rising to her head. She was controlling the water easily and using the fire hydrants to unleash more and more water towards Inferno. Inferno was holding his throat and struggling to keep air in. He placed his hands over his mouth and struggled as Witch's eyes were worried. If this keeps up, Siren could drown him! She left her wand in front of the people and flew towards Inferno.
