Bounded by Fate

The flight to Korea was long and tiring, even though I've taken a few naps on the plane, including the one taken from the airport all the way to the hotel.

"Here it is", Caylynn sighed tiredly and unlocked the door, using the hotel key card for our room.

Walking into our hotel room, I glanced around tiredly before letting my feet lead me to wherever. Slowly opening the door at the end of the hallway, I walked into the bedroom, dragging my suitcase behind me as I walked towards the bed.

Stopping in front of the bed, I left my suitcase laying on the floor before falling dramatically onto the bed, letting out a satisfied sigh as I felt the softness of the mattress beneath my body.

I had managed to kick my shoes off, removing my jeans and bra, choosing to lay in my oversized shirt instead. Crawling underneath the blankets, enjoying the cold feeling the covers gave before turning the lights off and allowing my eyes to close as I welcomed the long awaited sleep.

Ring.

Ring..

Ring...

Groaning in irritation at being woken up by the ringing of my phone, I blindly reach out towards my phone with my eyes still closed. Managing to grab hold of the device, I slowly peeled my eyes open to see the name of the culprit that disturbed my sleep.

Sighing tiredly at getting woken up, I swiped on the green button to accept the call.

"Hmm?", I sleepily mumbled into the phone while rubbing my eyes.

"Wake up dumbass, the day has already started!", my sister all but yelled into the phone, causing me hiss slightly at the loud noise and pull the phone away from my ear.

"Can you not scream that loud, I haven't even fully woken up yet", I replied, slowly managing to sit up in bed, hoping that it will help me wake up faster.

She laughed lightly before apologizing.

"Forgive me, I just miss you", She said sincerely.

"Kaylene, I saw you before I left, it's not that deep", I half heartedly rolled my eyes.

I heard her sigh on the other end before she spoke up again. "I went for my check up this morning", I could hear the excitement in her voice and could not help but smile.

"And? What did the doctor say?", I leaned back against the headboard, smiling as I waited for her response.

"The doctor said that everything is going smoothly and the baby is healthy and strong", she spoke with excitement in her voice that I could not help but laugh softly at.

I let out a small sigh of relief, "That's good to hear", I pause before continuing, "I can't wait to see my niece!", I exclaimed excitedly, causing her to let out a laugh.

We continued to speak for a while before her name was being called.

"Sorry, Abby but I have to get going. Han is calling, he will not leave me be", She said and laughed lightly, causing me to laugh as well.

"Of course he will be worried about you, you guys are soulmates and expecting your first child, so it's normal", I heard Han call her name once again making her let out a sigh.

"Let me go and see what he wants, call me when you get time, I love you and keep safe", she blew kissed into the phone, making me laugh.

"I love you too, will call again", as we said our goodbyes, I let out a yawn and stretched my arms out above my head before deciding to get out of bed.

My bare feet padded softly against the wooden floor as I made my way towards the kitchen, the smell of coffee invading my nose.

Rounding the corner, I caught sight of Nicole being busy in the kitchen as she poured hot water into three mugs. Taking in her appearance, she wore a tank top with black sweats and a pair of fluffy white slippers.

"Good morning, you're up early", I greeted her, making my way towards the island, taking  a seat in one of the chairs.

Nicole greeted me back before passing me a mug of hot tea, I thanked her since I disliked the taste of coffee.

"I couldn't sleep, cause the excitement of today kept me awake", as she said this, I was reminded of what today actually was, causing me to let out an excited squeal.

"It's the BTS concert, Oh my god, I can't believe we are actually going!", I exclaimed excitedly, causing Nicole do the same.

"What are the two of you going on about?", Caylynn's voice spoke up as she walked into the kitchen wearing an oversized shirt and basket ball shorts with socks.

Nicole slid another coffee filled mug towards Caylynn who gratefully took it with a thankful smile.

"We were talking about the concert tonight, remember?", Nicole said as she took a sip from her own mug.

Caylynn nodded her head, "Of course I remember, we should get ready for the day and probably buy a few groceries", Caylynn finished, making up nod in agreement.

"Yes, that sounds good", finishing the rest of my tea, I place my empty mug in the sink and return to my room to get ready for the day.
