Annabeth left her job, tired, after a long day of work. She liked to think, that was not the problem. She didn't like her job. She worked as a retail worker at Walmart and hated it. The people were great. She had a lot of friends from there. She met Piper McLean, Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano, and one of her childhood best friends, Thalia Grace. But the customers were awful. She handled them perfectly, of course, but she was still tired.

So when she found there was a new coffee shop close to her house, she was just thrilled. She loved pastries, her favorites being cheesecakes. On Tuesday 15th of August, she entered the new shop, while holding her books about architecture. She sat at a table for two and started reading when the only waiter approached her.

-Here is the menu. Please tell me when you have your order. - Annabeth looked at all the options, and then called the waiter again, curious about something.

-How can I help you, ma'am?- He asked while smirking.

-I would like to know why every option is blue, mister.

-First of all, call me Percy, or Persassy, if you want. Secondly, here at Jackson and Blofis, almost all the food is blue. You have to pay extra for non-blue sweets.- Annabeth looked at him, asking herself why he was making jokes at work.

-And why is everything blue, Percy?- I asked, emphasizing his name. He looked a little flustered by that but answered quickly.

-Because blue is scientifically proven to be the best color, ma'am.- He said, making fun of the way I pronounced his name.

-I didn't know that Persassy. But I decided on my order now. A blue cheesecake and one latte, please.

-Coming right up ma'am- he said while writing everything down as quickly as he could, which was very slow.

-Please, call me Annabeth.

Hi! This is my first story, and what other way to start than with Percabeth? All of these characters don't belong to me. They belong to Rick Riordan. If you address me, please call me blue. Bye!
