The last chapter is a lie. Of course. What happened was very simple.
I went to work, as usual, with the party on my mind. Maybe I didn't pay much attention, but I talked to them. I wasn't weird. They asked me what happened, out of nowhere, so I answered nothing, as a person should do. Immediately after, Reyna reached me and asked quietly, which was nice, but I will not fall for that. Ten minutes later, Thalia offered me some gum for me to tell her, but I still answered no, because that was such a bad bribe.
After all that I left the store, and started walking. I felt that Thalia and Piper were following me, so I started to move in different directions for them to stop following me. They didn't, so I entered Jackson and Blofis hoping Percy would kick them out. Oh boy was I wrong.
I hugged him and gave him a gift. I think he blushed a little, don't know. He opened the box and found a plushie of Nemo. He screamed of happiness and hugged me again. Wasn't that a little awkward. After that I introduced him to Piper and Thalia, and he invited them to the reunion. Strange.
We talked a lot. We screamed a lot. It was really fun. Turns out that Frank is dating Hazel, that Leo is dating one of Piper's friends, Calypso, that Jason is Thalia's brother (and Piper's "secret" crush), that Nico is Hazel's brother and is dating Will, and that Reyna, Jason, Hazel, Nico and Frank all met each other in a summer camp. A lot of information. In the end we made a graph.
Then we played the unspeakable name. The unknown. We played...
20 questions. Yeah. Since we were a lot of people it was more like 1 question, but don't mind that. First started Piper, asking Frank if he and Hazel had had sex yet. He answered very shyly that no, they weren't ready. Then Frank asked Jason if he ever dated someone. Jason answered that he wasn't ready yet, and besides, he is got a lot of time. After that Jason asked Leo, something about his favorite element in Avatar: the leyend of Aang. Leo started fangirling about how he loved fire type (author note: his mother is alive in this world) and Sokka being a funny but serious guy. A really long answer.
Soon after Leo asked Reyna how she met Thalia, Piper and me. She answered shortly, just saying that we started working in the same place, and we had fun with each other. Shortly after she asked Nico how many languages he knows. He answered 4, Latin, Greek, Italian and English. After asking his boyfriend if he was okay with that, he asked if he was allergic to chocolate. Sadly, he said yes. Everyone gasped, in horror. Will specified that it was cacao, not chocolate, but since chocolate contains cacao, he can't eat it. Will asked Thalia if she was scared of heights, to that she answered yes. Here's come the important part.
Thalia asked Percy if he liked like someone. We all oooohhh'd the room. He sat quietly for a while and then said:
- Well, it's not really liking. I don't know her well enough for that. But she is really funny and pretty. - Everyone oooohhh'd the room again.
After felling all awkward for a minute, Percy asked me:
- So, Annabeth, what is your favorite book in the world?
- If I really had to choose, I would say "The Hobbit" from Tolkien.
- Okay.
Finally I asked Piper what her favorite color was, and she said kaleidoscope. Sally entered and we all sang happy birthday to Percy. What a fun day.
