As the morning sun broke over the horizon, it cast an eerie light on the grim aftermath of Araceli's bloodthirsty rampage. The men she had lured and murdered lay lifeless in their respective locations, their lives extinguished to sate her insatiable hunger. In the cold light of day, their fate remained a haunting memory. Unbeknownst to the unfolding horrors within Lennon's apartment, a middle-aged man with short gray hair, dressed in a casual business suit, arrived at his front door. It was time for Lennon to pay his monthly rent, and the landlord, punctual in his duties, had come to collect the dues. He knocked loudly on the door.

Landlord: Hello, open up! Rent is due today this month.

He knocked again harder and rang the doorbell. But no one was there. The landlord was growing increasingly impatient and worried. When he touched the door knob, he realized it was open. Perplexed by this, he cautiously entered the apartment. To his surprise, everything within appeared pristine, as if untouched by the passage of time. The living space seemed to be in perfect order, with no signs of disturbance or disorder. It was as though the apartment had been frozen in time, opposed to the night of chaos and horror that had unfolded just hours earlier. The landlord's confusion deepened as he attempted to make sense of the eerie situation that lay before him.

Landlord: He thought to himself. If the door was opened, why didn't Lennox answer me?

Landlord: On the inside. Where is he and what is he doing?

He proceeded to Lennox's room, his footsteps echoing in the silence of the apartment. He found the door to the room closed and approached it with caution. With a sense of unease, he called out Lennox's name one last time, hoping for a response that would dispel the growing sense of disquiet that hung in the air.

Landlord: Lennox, are you in here? Answer me!

The minutes passed, but there was no answer. As the landlord slowly opened the door to Lennox's room, the sight that greeted him was a horrifying tableau that would haunt him forever. Lennox's lifeless body lay sprawled across his bed, the color drained from his face, leaving it a ghastly bluish-white. His eyes were missing, their sockets hollow and empty, an image of gruesome horror. A large bruise marked his neck, and beneath it, the once-vibrant red blood had turned inky black. The room seemed to close in on the landlord, and the shock of the scene shook him to the core. Overwhelmed with terror, he let out a blood-curdling scream, a guttural cry that reverberated through the apartment, echoing the unfathomable horrors that had transpired within its walls. The landlord's frenzied escape, marked by his harrowing screams, did not go unnoticed. Alarmed neighbors quickly dialed 911, summoning the police to the scene of the crime in that apartment zone. Lennox's parents had also been alerted, and when they arrived at the apartment and saw the lifeless body of their beloved son, their world shattered. Overcome with grief and anguish, they broke down in tears and cried out in agony at the tragic loss that had befallen their family.

Lennox's mom: Lennox...my son. Who on earth would do this to you?!

Lennox's dad: Please come back to us, Lennox...

In the chaotic aftermath of the gruesome discovery, the police, fueled by the appearance of the crime scene and the landlord's hasty exit, quickly moved to detain the landlord as the prime suspect in Lennox's death. Handcuffs were swiftly placed on him, and he was taken into custody without initial interrogation. The prevailing belief was that he held the answers to this terrible crime, and suspicion weighed heavily upon him. Amid the turmoil, a group of interviewers arrived, wielding microphones and cameras. They swarmed around Lennox's grieving parents, asking them probing questions about their thoughts on the landlord's alleged involvement in their son's death.
