Chapter 7: Fall of Blackthorne Hollow (Final)

Lydia, committed to her deceitful act, claimed that she had visited Alaric while he was supposedly suffering in the hospital. However, her fabricated stories couldn't hide the truth, and the depth of her deception finally proved too much for Alaric to bear. His anger boiled over, and he abandoned his calm composure. He raged at Lydia, accusing her of cruelty and a complete lack of remorse for his suffering. He called her out for betraying their relationship and cheating on him with Rick while he was enduring the agonizing pain of chemotherapy.

Alaric: That's enough lying! I know very well you and Rick weren't planning to surprise me with anything...

Alaric: Nor you gave a f**k during the extra times you were supposed to visit me.

Alaric: I knew you were cheating on me the entire time! Don't talk innocent...That sh*t doesn't work for me.

Lydia: Alaric...please.

Rick: But dude, Lydia didn't cheat on you with me. She was telling the truth...You have to believe her, man!

Alaric: Lies and more lies. Not buying anything that comes out of your mouth.

Alaric: Since you couldn't put one on one together, I was brought back to life as a vampire! Doctors aren't smart enough to cure me this fast.

Alaric: F**k you both and you two losers were made for each other!

Consumed by rage and driven by the monstrous urges of his newfound vampiric nature, Alaric confessed his transformation to Lydia and Rick. His eyes glowed a menacing red, and his fangs emerged, revealing the true nature of his supernatural existence. With a deadly swiftness, he lunged at first his former best friend Rick and then turned his attention to Lydia. In their blood-soaked and shame-filled state, Lydia and Rick were defenseless, their vulnerability glaringly apparent as Alaric's newfound vampiric strength overpowered them. Within moments, their lifeless bodies were cast aside on the unforgiving concrete. Araceli landed gracefully from her bat form and observed the scene with a chilling smirk. She spoke sarcastically to Alaric, her tone dripping with irony, as she gazed upon the lifeless bodies of Lydia and Rick, acknowledging the darkness that had overtaken them all.

Araceli: Are you for real? Didn't your mom ever teach you to share?

Araceli: After all, sharing is caring, prince charming.

Alaric: Says the one who never allows another to have a bite of her meal after butchering them to pieces.

Araceli: So, it seems like Barbie dolls are no longer your type.

Araceli: She has ascended to the pinnacle of "heaven" with her precious Ken haha.

Alaric: More like a knocked off idiot who decided to betray the former glorious Romeo out of jealousy.

Araceli: Of course, it never gets old with your cockiness does it?

Alaric: He walked closer to her. I'm always cocky. I'll never regret reminding backstabbers of their actions.

Alaric: Anyone who has a problem with that should beg for Devil's mercy.

Araceli: You mean at MY mercy? Don't forget...the Devil lives within me. You wouldn't be alive if it weren't for me, Romeo.

In the midst of their casual exchange of sarcasm, Alaric's admission cut through the tension. He confessed that the type of person represented by his ex was no longer his type. In a surprising twist, he revealed that his heart had been captivated by the dangerously charming and potent Araceli.

Alaric: He stroked her face. Forget about Barbie. Ice Cold Snow White is my new favorite flavor.

Araceli: So you did fall for me. Romeo's gotta be careful so he doesn't get too addicted and clingy to me.
