Chapter 7

Murong Qing was very happy to get a new horse so he didn't have to go with Luo Mingze. On the way back, everything seemed calm. A Fei also seems satisfied that Murong Qing caught Li Er's murderer.

When night fell, they rested in the open forest. Lan Feiyu walked over to Murong Qing. "A Qing" Lan Feiyu called. "What's wrong Minister Lan?" Murong Qing asked confusedly.

"Su Yang, he wants to talk to you." Lan Feiyu said. "I'll see him." Murong Qing said smiling. "Control your emotions." Lan Feiyu said worriedly. "I will." Murong Qing said smiling. Lan Feiyu didn't speak any more but his face showed that he was worried.

"What do you want to say?" Murong Qing asked flatly. "You think your father is so innocent? He was the main reason your mother died." Su Yang taunted. "Only that." Murong Qing said about to leave.

Su Yang looked panicked. “You think Luo Mingze is so innocent? Your mother's death had its part too.” Su Yang said. Su Yang's words automatically made Murong Qing stop. Murong Qing turned around and looked at Su Yang flatly.

"What do you mean?" Murong Qing asked. "Don't you feel that your mother's health is declining? The pastries that Luo Mingze always brings to the palace when he visits contain poison." Su Yang said with a grin.

"I ate that pastries too. I didn't die." Murong Qing said flatly. "The pastries you eat and the one your mother eats are not the same. You definitely understand that more than anyone else." Su Yang added.

"But my mother died because of poisoned wine, not poisoned pastries. You don't need to act nice. Your Su family also sinners. The empress also took part in the plan. My mother's death was part of the plan of the Liang family as well as the Su family. I will not let you go. " Murong Qing said before leaving. Su Yang seemed annoyed that his plan didn't work.

Murong Qing stepped away from the group and was very upset. "Luo Family!" Murong Qing said angrily and hit a big tree hard. "Are you okay?" Luo Mingze asked. Luo Mingze's face showed concern.

Murong Qing was furious and pushed him against the tree trunk. “Luo Mingze, what do you mean by bringing poisoned pastries to my mother?!” Murong Qing said angrily. Luo Mingze was shocked to hear that.

"Did you know?" Luo Mingze asked smiling sadly. "Because of this, your father hit you. Why don't you talk?! Why don't you talk?!" Murong Qing said so angry that tears flowed from his eyes.

Luo Mingze was even more shocked. "How do you know?" Luo Mingze asked confusedly. "Because my mother's servant disappeared, since then the pastries you brought weren't as many as the first time. I also saw you smash a plate against a tree." Murong Qing said laughing sadly.

Murong Qing's face was very unsightly. Tears streamed down his face and he laughed. Murong Qing withdrew and left. Before Murong Qing left, Luo Mingze held his hand.

Before Murong Qing could speak. Luo Mingze turned Murong Qing around. "It's not your fault. At first I didn't know but your mother's maid also died from the poisoned pastries so I'm also at fault. I didn't want to say because I didn't want to hurt you." Luo Mingze said sincerely.

Murong Qing let go of Luo Mingze's hand. "Then you don't owe me any more. From now on you continue on your path and I live my life. I don't want to see you again." Murong Qing said before leaving.

Luo Mingze sighed. Luo Mingze wanted to stop him but he had no reason to stop Murong Qing. That night Murong Qing didn't sleep at all, just stared at the bright full moon.

The rest of the journey was calmer. Luo Zixin and Fan Yuxuan knew something was going on between Luo Mingze and Murong Qing but no one dared to ask.

Arriving in the capital, Lan Feiyu immediately took Su Yang to the Ministry of Justice before going to the palace to report. Luo Mingze went to the palace first to report this to Emperor Murong. Meanwhile, Murong Qing returned to his house and found that his house was reduced to ashes.
