The next day, the servant who was to be taken to the palace was found murdered on the way. Murong Qing smiled upon hearing this. Because there was no evidence, Murong Xinyue and Liang Liwei were released from their house arrest.

In a few days it will be Empress Dowager Mu's birthday celebration. So Emperor Murong let them go. Having no work, Murong Qing visited her grandmother, Empress Dowager Mu.

"I'm not forgetting you but I'm very busy. Today Minister Lan was kind enough to give me a day off so I could visit you." Murong Qing said smiling.

"Do my father often visit you, grandma?" Murong Qing asked. "I don't want to meet that disobedient child." Empress Dowager Mu said irritably. "Are grandma and father arguing?" Murong Qing asked calmly.

"Your mother's problem also yours." Empress Dowager Mu said with a sigh. "Grandma, it's all over. Instead of continuing to be angry with father and hurting yourself. It's better if grandma goes for a walk to improve your health." Murong Qing said smiling. Empress Dowager Mu also smiled.

Murong Qing returned when evening arrived. Murong Qing returned to Jade Palace and found his father there. "Father, have you waited long?" Murong Qing asked worriedly. "I just got here." said Emperor Murong smiling.

"Is there anything that makes father happy?" Murong Qing asked confusedly. "I feel like you're back in childhood. You don't use salute when you meet me and I'm happy." Emperor Murong said honestly.

'I forget.' Murong Qing thought. "Then from now on I won't pay respect to father." Murong Qing said smiling. "Good then." Emperor Murong said. The two of them chatted until night fell and even father and son ate together.

Over the next few days, Murong Qing was busy with preparations for Empress Dowager Mu's birthday banquet. Murong Qing had no time to rest.

Murong Qing remembered, this time another character Ouyang Lanying would appear who ended up marrying Murong Xinyue. Ouyang Lanying is the grandson of General Ouyang Shiying who guarded the border with his grandfather, Zhang Ling.

Empress Dowager Mu's birthday arrived. All the guests came to congratulate Empress Dowager Mu. The gift giving event was boring for Murong Qing. Murong Qing quietly slipped away. Empress Dowager Mu smiled at Murong Qing's behavior.
