Noise became clear to my ears, as I was fading into consciousness. Darkness was all around except for few lights flying past as an awfully loud sound of a crate shifting upwards. A deep siren rang around the crate. I hitched in deep breathes as my mind was going one hundred miles an hour. I turned overlooking down of the crate as there were holes through the bottom. I sat back leaning against my arms for support as a sudden surge of pain sprung through my left leg. The sirens peaked making my ears ring. The crate flew up at a fast rate.

But stopped so suddenly...

The lights dimmed to pitch black, no sound to be heard only my deep shaking breathes. The crate opened from above my head. I squinted as the abrupt shine of the sun. Figures appeared in vision, I began to panic as my breath heaved up and down rising my shoulders.

Someone jumped in suddenly staring down at me.
"It's a girl" the blondie who sounds like a brit spoke. The figures surrounded that became clearer...

They were all boys...

I looked up as my whole body shook with fear. Another boy jumped down the crate staring straight into my eyes. My first observation was his eyebrows "Alright that's enough time in this shucking hole. Rise and shine...day one greenie" the boy grabbed my arm forcing me to stand up I gasped not speaking a word as tears threaten to escape "Hey Gally be gentle" the blondie spoke with a stern voice with a glaring expression towards this twat named Gally.

He shoved me on the dirt ground, I brought my legs up to my chest. Staring up at everyone above me. They kept commenting making the uncomfortableness worse.

"Ohhh, she looks pretty".

"She looks like a slopper to me".

"I could use some help in the kitchen".

As the comments just kept rushing through their mouths, I couldn't take it anxiety coursing through my body. I got up a ran. Ran as fast as I could.

"HEY, WE GOT A RUNNER!", as I ran, with gasps and groans left my mouth as I sped through the vibrant grass field leading to the woods, until arms griped my waist tightly bringing me to the ground.

"No run' in alright" as the blondies voice spoke with his thick British accent. He laid on top of me straddling me, so I had no escape. He had two hands on each of my arms stopping me from moving or wiggling out of his grasp.

My eyes widened as I took in his features as our eyes met, with his brown orbs sending mine into a trance under his own. I just stared into them with my lips slightly a gap, my breathing shallowed as he slowly got off me.

'The eyebrowed twat' running up to us "Hey, Newt...put her in the pit". 'The blondie's names Newt? Okay'. Newt lifted me up off the ground ringing his arms under me under arms, pulling me up. He walked me to what they called the 'pit'. Newt guided me in a tenderly manner, locking the handmade wooden gate.

I stared outside the gate with my hands on the wooden rails as questions confront me. Who are these people? How did I get here? Why am I here? I questioned myself, not before long another figure walked out from the side of the prison. His skin much darker but glistened in the sun as sweat pricked his forehead and his hair was shaved short "Hey there green bean. You're not gonna run again, okay?", I just stared, that's all I could do I was scared, afraid what was going to happen to me around these hormonal boys around me. I nodded as an answer "good" he spoke that was almost a whisper, he unlocked the wooden gate "My name's Alby. Can you tell me anything about yourself? Who you are? Where you came from anything at all?", Alby spoke relentlessly. I thought for a moment gripping my stomach out of anxiousness.

"No...", I breathed heavily as I tried to gain memory. "Can you tell me your name?", the question didn't occur to me till now, I tried diving through my memories realizing who I was "My names Y/N...". I started to shake as I hyperventilated "why can't I remember anything else?" I panicked putting my head in my hands "Hey it's okay. Relax...relax". I took my head out of my hands gazing up to Alby with tears welling in my eyes "It happens to us all...your lucky you got your name back. We got ours after a day or two, it's the only thing they let us keep", I shook my head eyeing the dust on the ground of the 'pit' "what is this place?". I breathed out, shaking my head ever so slightly.

"Let me show you..." Alby stretched out his arm. As I grabbed it and he let me out of the pit. I stood up surrounded by the shine over the sun with high walls covering the rest of the world.

"We eat here, we sleep here, we grow our own food. We build our own shelter", we strode along the grass as Alby showed me around "what ever we need the box provides, the rest is up to us" "the box?" I exchanged a confused look, and he turned his head towards me "yeah, it's sent up with new supplies and a new greenie, this month that's you" he motioned his head to me "sent up? By who though? Who sent us up here?", Alby stared towards me walking backwards having his body facing me "that we don't know".

"Hey, are you alright Alby?" the blondie spoke running towards us "Y/N, meet Newt", I nodded as he shook my hand in a kind manner with a bright smile on his face "when I'm not around, he's in charge". Alby spoke with a grin forming "well it's a good thing your always around then", Newt turned his head towards me with his eyes glinting and his smile still bright "that was some dash you made earlier...Until I caught you...that was great", they both chuckled. "Newt you wanna do me a favour" Newt faced Alby as he spoke "I give the responsibility of the greenie this month", Newts eyes gazed at me and his smiled dropped to a nervous laugh. Alby pated his back and ran off, Newt eyed him as he left leaving me crossing my arms in an awkward atmosphere "Hey come on...Look, I'm sorry to rush this. But you came up a bit late and there's a lot to do." Newt explained as he motioned me to this tall tower built of tree wood. I expressed confusion through my expressions as he stared at me back "Yeah you'll see...I hope your not afraid of heights" Newt beamed a toothy grin.

Once we made it to the top I leaned on the wooden railing on the top as he did the same "This is all we got. We've worked hard for it", my eyes got lost on the maze walls opening "okay, we have three rules. First do your part, No time for any free loaders. Second, never harm another Glader, none of this works unless we have trust. Most importantly. . . never, go beyond those maze" Newt stated with his lips puckered together as his tongue went around his mouth. I gazed out backed to the maze walls as my eyebrows furrowed with confusion.

"You don't talk much do you?" Newt spoke nudging the side of my waist. I glared at him and ignored him, until I decided to speak, I felt like a hug , I wanted support "No I don't...I guess I'm just confused, scared, I don't know who to trust with a whole bunch of boys around me", I turned my head to the side seeing Newt licking his lips as he stared down at me "It's alright, I'll make sure they won't touch you...you trust me?" Newt let out his hand with a blank look on his face, I looked down to his hand and gripped it "I trust you...", It was barely audible as only Newt and I could hear.
