-Third Person's POV-

The ride to Phayu's apartment was silent. At least, that's what Rain thought since the road they were taking was greatly far from his neighborhood. He sat uneasily in the passenger seat, constantly stealing glances at his senior through the rearview mirror while fiddling with the sleeves of blue jacket. The frown on Phayu's face never vanished and it made Rain worry. A lot. It seemed like Phayu was still mad at him.

After the guards left, Phayu dragged him harshly by the wrist to his car. He tried to struggle and wiggle out of his strong grasp but the older looked at him and snapped. His eyes bored holes on his forehead.

"Get in the car." He commanded, voice strong and firm laced with authority. Rain was petrified and he instantly stopped struggling. He nodded meekly before responding to the elder's request and entered the car. Phayu shut the door after him.

Being the only child, he never really got used to someone being mad at him. In fact, whenever Sky and his parents were upset they'd never give him a silent treatment nor yell at him. He had to admit this new found emotion was quite unpleasant and he could never get used to it. Phayu's silence was too deafening for him.

"P'Phayu....?" he started meekly, afraid that the older might snap at him again.

He hated being yelled at. There was one time a professor yelled at him for failing to submit his homework on time and he cried all the way to his house. It would be so embarrassing if ever Phayu yells at him right now, he would cry. He thought that if it ever happens, he would wish the ground would open and swallow him alive and never see Phayu again. He had no control over the faucet in his eyes.

The expected shout never came out of the man beside him, insead he continued to stay silent. Eyes fixed on the road with his brows still knitted together. Rain remained silent, silently praying for the ride to be over and that Phayu would talk to him.

A few moments later, they arrived at Phayu's home. The lights were on from the second floor, giving off a nice tinted glow. It was late in the evening and there was nothing but the lamp post lighting the ground floor of the mansion.

Phayu was the first one to exit the car, Rain followed him in a hurry.

""P'Phayu wait up!" He called, walking as fast as he could to catch up with the older. It was in front of the living room when Rain finally caught up with him. Rain quickly grabbed him by the wrist and Phayu immediately stopped on his tracks.

"I'm sorry Phi, please talk to me."

-Rain's POV-

I know I screwed up. That plan was impromptu. But I really don't have a choice, I'm desperate to make this plan work. I'm so sick of seeing how happy my ex is with that woman and here I am feeling miserable. I have to make this plan work as soon as possible.

P'Phayu turned around to face me, annoyance and anger still in his eyes. I gulped. I just realized the damage my plan has caused. This was his work, and had to ruin it for him because of my silly ex. Is he really worth it? Guilt filled my heart. That I have to ruin somebody's day for him?

"I'm sorry P'Phayu..." I uttered. I lost count of how many times I apologized already.

"If you're sorry then tell me this." His voice finally spoke. "Why did you do it?" He asked, his voice sounded even more annoyed.

I looked at him with my eyes wide open.

"I...." I stuttered. I really don't know how to respond to him, I can't tell him that I just want to use him to make my ex jealous. That is... just wrong.

"Tell me Rain." His voice snapped me back to reality.

"I... I really like you P'Phayu..." I swallowed a big lump down my throat. Damn... those words were really hard to utter.

There was a pause in the air before P'Phayu scoffed and laughed. My face turned red and I immediately let go of his hands. Embarrassed, I was about to leave when he held my hand. There was a slight shift in the air as he spun me around to look at his face again.

"I know what you are doing? Do you really think I'm that dumb?" He asked, a sly smirk on his lips. "I began to find it really weird when Prapai began to ask me a lot of questions these past few days. He isn't the kind of person who is concerned about anything I do or what I like. I began to think that it had something to do with his boyfriend considering the fact that he is such a dog to him." P'Phayu paused and looked at me intensely as his grip around my hand tightened. Hurts...

"So tell me Rain, what do you want? Did it have to do with you?" He asked. Voice deep as he stared straight into my eyes. I couldn't keep eye contact any longer, he was looking at me like a hunter hunting down its prey.

"When I ask, I need an answer."

"Okay! Okay! I just wanted you to pose as my boyfriend to make Sam jealous!" I shouted in frustration, yanking his hand away from mine. God that hurts! I closed and opened my palm which was beginning to turn red from how tight he was gripping it.

"Huh. Kids nowadays really." He rubbed the back of his neck, holding his hips.

"What are you going to help me or not?" I asked, growing impatient and embarrassed.

He thought for a while. I was standing there silently hoping he would agree.

"Only if you ask me nicely." He wiggled his eyebrows and my jaw dropped.

[unbetaed]

You thought I was dead, didn't you? Well technically, I was, because school is killing me and now I'm alive again. My midterms just ended and finally I got the long weekend I deserve.

This chapter is just short since I am too lazy and too drained to edit or write something. I just want to publish this one to assure you guys that I am still alive and suffering. Single, broke, and miserable.

Anyways go stream 1989 (Taylor Swift's version) right now. Who knows, a particular song might inspire me to write something again.

'Till next time, bye!!!!
