-Phayu's POV-

I looked at the window and saw Sam, looking annoyed. His eyebrows furrowed and his hand crossed in front of his chest. Serves you right. I smirked. Gossips about him and Rain's relationship reached my ears since Sam and Rain were often seen together around the campus. It became a hot topic among small groups in my faculty, but that rumor wasn't really known like my beef with Sam. Many were already speculating about their relationship even before their so-called "separation." But from what I heard both of them allegedly denied it when asked. Seeing Sam with another girl on campus stood out like a sore thumb. I had a fair share of information from Prapai, since he was the closest to the truth thanks to Sky.

Sam and I never got a long.I still remember the first day I laid eyes on Rain. He followed Sam like a lost puppy and would blindly do anything for him. The moment I met Rain wasn't very eventful. I only bumped into him in the cafeteria once when Prapai decided to ditch our usual spot.

"So ummm... are you interested in dating anyone right now?" Prapai asked out of the blues. I raised an eyebrow. "What about it?" I asked, shoving a spoonful of mashed potatoes into my mouth. Prapai shrugged and took another bite of his yogurt.

The cafeteria was crowded, filled with bustling students lining up to eat lunch. I usually don't stay here this late, the crowd was something I couldn't handle. Usually I don't eat here at all, the spot under trees in the park was my go to lunch spot. But today I got dragged by Prapai saying there is something that he wants to try in the cafeteria. Turns out it was just shaved ice topped with corn, flakes, and evaporated and condensed milk. I really regret not ditching this guy.

"If somebody were to ask you out right now? Would you go out with them?" Prapai went on with his weird questions. "Why? Do you want to confess your love to me or something? Did you and Sky break up and you're looking for a rebound? I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm not into hook ups right now." I teased, dropping the empty plastic bowl in front of him.

"What the hell no! I'd never break up with my Sky! He's the most perfect human being to ever exist in this world." He said dramatically. "There is no way I'm going to trade him for a jackass like you."

I rolled my eyes. Ever since Prapai scored on a junior from the architecture faculty, he had been tamed ever since. He was nicknamed as the school's biggest playboy. Before he met Sky he would have different women here and there, almost everyday. He met Sky at a party and it was love at first sight according to him. But due to his reputation, he had a hard time pursuing Sky. I remember those days clearly where he cried and promised he would repent. Gone was the wild and player Prapai, all there is left now is almost as loyal as a dog to Sky. I must say the younger had him wrapped around his finger. Good for him.

"No, I don't have anyone that fancy's me right now." I told him truthfully. "Then that's great! I'd like to set you up with someone then-" I kicked his foot from under the table and he winced in pain. Rubbing his legs with a loud 'ouch.'

"What was that all about!?" He exclaimed. "To shut you up." I deadpanned. "I may be single but I don't trust your choices in finding me a date. Your taste and mine are quite different."

"But you are into someone younger than you right?" He wiggled his eyebrows. I kicked his legs once again, harder this time. "Stop making me sound like a pedophile." I furrowed my brows. He faked a cry and was rubbing his legs dramatically. I opened my phone to check the time. 11:50, it reads. "We better go." I said, fixing my bag, slipping in an extra snack for later. Prapai hurriedly finished his dessert. We stood up and were ready to go. "You go ahead, I want to buy something for Sky first." I nodded and headed towards the exit.

I walked to the exit of the cafeteria and accidentally bumped into someone, sending the books he was carrying to the ground. "I'm sorry." I heard a low voice apologize, almost at the verge of crying. I bent down and helped him pick up his books. "It's okay..." I trailed off. I heard him sniffle and quickly grabbed his book from my hand. He stood up and ran off. I looked at his retreating back.
