-Third Person's POV-

Rain listened to the voice outside the cubicle. It was undoubtedly his ex boyfriend, Sam. He leaned to listen to their conversation, gripping the strap of his bag tightly.

"So you two already knew each other before starting uni?"

He could hear an unfamiliar voice ask. If he was really over him—which he wasn't since he was still acting up his revenge plan. He should know better than eavesdropping, right?

What are they talking about? His curiosity got the better of him.

"Yeah... kind of."

He could hear Sam's voice in response. One of them opened the cubicle next to his while the other two footsteps settled on the lavatory in front as they spoke. Rain immediately withdrew his ears from the door and stepped back into the toilet, trying to make sense of what they were talking about. He wanted to go out and face them but he didn't want to see Sam's face right now. They could do something to harm him in some ways considering the fact that he almost murdered him and his ahem, poor choice of a girlfriend by throwing a glass at them in his apartment a week ago. He waited inside his cubicle for them to leave first.

A sigh of relief left his lips quietly as the cubicle next to him opened and the sound of the faucet being turned on was heard.

"So you've been dating her for long now?"

Rain's ears perked up.

"Yeah... I mean, we've known each other since last summer camp."

"So those rumors of you and Rain weren't true?"

Rain's eyes widened at the sound of his name being mentioned. Shit! What are they talking about!

"Don't be ridiculous! You actually think Sam is gay?"

"I suppose...? But it was all around campus. Girls were shipping you two together. They almost made a page and wrote fanfics about you two. Their fantasies were shattered when they found out you were dating Jessi. Even my girlfriend was rooting for the two of you."

"I mean, Rain's not pretty bad looking so..."

Rain's hand crumbled into a fist. So her name was Jessi. This bastard was cheating on me long before we got together!

He stopped angry tears from welling up his eyes as he listened closely for Sam's response. The bitterness, anger, and jealousy he felt in his heat resurfaced once more. He couldn't believe it. He fell for someone who saw him as nothing but a mare walking calculator. How foolish of him..

This bastard! This fucker! I wish I could crumple that stupid face of his! How dare he do this to me!

"Yeah... Rain and I were just... friends."

Sam replied and it was enough to make his blood boil.

Tell them you cheated you bastard!

He yelled in his head. He did everything in his will power not to burst out the door to tell them everything and beat up Sam in the process. Why was someone as rotten as him given a pleasant face? It's a shame if he would just stump on it in the future while acting out his revenge.

"Oh..."

"You know... You and Rain were pretty close and we also assumed that... there was something going on between the two of you... we accept you for who you are, you know.'

Silence. Long awkward silence fell upon them. Rain held the knob and was really to open the door when Sam spoke, chuckling lightly.

"Come on guys! I would never do that. Stop messing around and let's go."
