i knew that she always had biology before lunch on a friday, so i decided to head to that lesson. after multiple turns into several different corridors, i finally found myself standing outside of her biology classroom.

i peered through the glass door, although there was no one inside other than her teacher.

i decided to knock.

*knock knock*

"come in!" the teacher called out.

as i stepped into the room, he glanced up at me with a confused expression.

"can i help?" he asked.

"i know this might sound random, but do you know where y/n went after your lesson?"

"y/n l/n?"

"yes."

"i'm not too sure. since it's lunchtime, i'm guessing she's gone down to the cafeteria," he explained.

"she wasn't there. i thought you may have known, but thank you anyway," i bowed politely, before exiting the room and shutting the door behind me.

i sighed, brushing a hand through my hair. i wandered on back towards the cafeteria, although i still felt extremely concerned over y/n's whereabouts.

as i was turning the corner into the next corridor, i overheard some unusual sounds coming from the girls toilets i was passing by.

i stopped and listened. that's when i realised they were sobs. what worried me the most, was the fact that i recognised the voice straight away.

they were y/n's cries.

at this point, i didn't care about the fact they were female only toilets. i barged myself through the door without hesitation.

i stopped in my tracks once i saw her crying in front of the sinks. there was no one else in here, but she was stood staring at her own reflection within the mirror.

she was running her fingers slowly through her newly re-coloured hair, whilst she sobbed back at her reflection.

"y/n-ie?" i spoke up, my chest thumping harshly with concern.

her head snapped around to face me once she heard my voice.

"what are you doing? you're not supposed to be in here," she sniffled, quickly wiping away her tears.

"i know, but i overheard you crying and knew i couldn't just leave you," i walked over towards her.

i was about to place a hand on her arm, but she instantly flinched and pulled away.

"i'm fine," she said, "you can leave."

"you're not fine," i spoke with sympathy, "you can tell me what's bothering you, i'll hear you out."
