(Saga)
It must not have been real
That has been the only explanation offered
For by all accounts it doesn't exist
The waking daydream bubbles, they say
It couldn't have been the case
How wonderfully lighted they were, alive with a colour
Only imagined
Hence why no one else has ever caught sight of them, I suppose
Ah, I've gotten ahead of myself - the pronoun was always "you" in those times
Many such you's were drawn in the sand, all in essence facing one another, just unrealized to it as you grappled with the thing called destiny
(A horrible concept, I've found, foulest of the dream bubble enemies)
Perhaps then, perhaps you were the reason for the moat to the towers? Each you, each frothy coated bubbly you in the sand, was it all to protect the dream kingdom?
You shouldn't have. A ruler of nutshells would be king of all, were it not for the untimely... passage.
That's not true, of course. No passage is ever untimely, it's always passing by. Whether by written word or faded castle, each pass age is always meant to pass.
Thus did each of you's drawn in the sand, never realizing you's across from you like yourself, turn away, taking a bubble filled with imaginary light, alighted up to pass an age
And slowly to the towers the rivers of fine time flow, rivulets and shifting sands...
A period of ending. It's never ending.
