Summary: Seungmin gets upset after he messes up on tour and Jisung comforts him after.

"Seungmin!" Minho's voice rang out sharply, cutting through the tense atmosphere of the practice room. The members winced, their exhaustion apparent as the day dragged on. Seungmin stood in the middle of the room, his shoulders sagging under the weight of frustration.

"I'm sorry," he murmured, voice trembling slightly as he avoided Minho's gaze. "Can we try again?"

Minho pinched the bridge of his nose, his irritation simmering just below the surface. "This is the last time, Seungmin. Seriously, the dance isn't that hard." The older took a deep breath, his eyes closed tightly in frustration, "Even Jisung got it right faster than you! JISUNG!"

Seungmin flinched at the volume of Minho's outburst. A lump formed in his throat, and tears began to prickle at the corners of his eyes. Felix stepped forward, his soft voice a shield against the tension.

"He's trying his best, Min. You need to ease up a bit."

Minho turned on him, eyes narrowing in frustration. "No, Felix. He's not trying hard enough. We go on stage tomorrow! He's going to drag the whole performance down if he doesn't get it together!"

The words hit Seungmin like a slap. He lowered his head, his cheeks burning with shame. "I'm sorry," he whispered, barely audible.

At that moment, Jisung and Hyunjin returned, carrying bags of ice cream. Jisung's excited chatter faltered as he took in the scene—the tense stances, Minho's angry expression, and worst of all, the tear-streaked face of his boyfriend.

"Minnie? What's wrong, my love?" Jisung immediately put the bags down, his concern overriding everything else. He crossed the room in a few long strides and cupped Seungmin's face gently, his thumbs brushing away the tears.

Seungmin tried to offer a small smile. "I'm fine, Ji. Just... frustrated. You go enjoy the ice cream with everyone else. I need to keep practicing."

Jisung frowned, his brows knitting together. "No, baby.  We'll work on it together later, okay? But for now, you need a break."

Reluctantly, Seungmin allowed Jisung to lead him out of the room. Minho watched them go, guilt flickering across his features. When they returned to join the group, Minho approached Seungmin, looking sheepish.

"Seungmin, I... I'm sorry for yelling. I shouldn't have lost my temper like that."

Seungmin looked at him, his warm smile returning despite the residual hurt in his eyes. "It's okay, Min. I understand."

The group shared their ice creams, the tension easing into a more relaxed atmosphere. Minho even managed to joke around, though Jisung still kept a watchful eye on him.

That evening, after everyone had rested and regrouped, Minho and Seungmin returned to the practice room. Seungmin was determined to get it right this time, but his exhaustion made it hard to focus. He stumbled over his footing and forgot the lyrics again.

"Seungmin!" Minho snapped, his frustration boiling over. "How do you keep messing this up? We've gone over it a hundred times!"

"I-I'm trying—"

"It's not good enough! We're performing tomorrow, and you're still getting it wrong. I can't help you anymore. Ask someone else!" Minho stormed out, slamming the door behind him.

Seungmin sank to the floor, his knees giving way beneath the weight of his emotions. The tears he'd been holding back finally spilled over, his sobs echoing in the empty room.

Forty minutes passed before he managed to compose himself. He wiped his face and left the practice room, his heart heavy. As he passed the studio where Jisung was working with Chan and Changbin, he hesitated. He wanted to see his boyfriend, to ask for comfort, but he didn't want to disrupt his work. Instead, he trudged back to the dorms, where Felix was waiting for him.

"You okay, Minnie?" Felix asked softly, concern etched on his face.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Seungmin lied, forcing a smile. He quickly retreated to his room, locking the door behind him.

The next morning, Jisung decided to surprise Seungmin, only to walk into the dorms and find him curled up on the couch with Minho. His heart sank as he saw Minho's hand gently stroking Seungmin's hair.

"What the hell, Kim Seungmin?!" Jisung's voice cracked with a mixture of anger and hurt.

Seungmin shot up, his face pale. "Ji, it's not what it looks like—"

"My best friend?" Jisung shouted, his hands balling into fists at his sides. "I can't believe this!" He turned on his heel and stormed out, slamming the door behind him.

"Jisung, wait!" Minho ran after him, desperation in his voice. "It's not like that! I swear!"

Jisung stopped in the hallway, his shoulders tense. "Then explain. Because from where I'm standing, it looks like you're cuddling my boyfriend."

Minho raised his hands in surrender. "Seungmin was upset, and I comforted him. That's all it was. I'd never betray you like that, Ji. Not after what happened with Jong-Hyun."

Jisung's anger began to waver. He looked past Minho to where Seungmin stood in the doorway, tears streaming down his face. His heart ached at the sight.

"I'm sorry," Jisung whispered, approaching Seungmin and pulling him into a tight embrace. "I overreacted."

"No, Ji. It's my fault. I should've told you. I know how much you've been hurt before, I'm sorry." Seungmin whispered, wrapping his arms tightly around the rapper.

The next day, the group arrived at the stadium, their nerves running high. Jisung made sure to stay close to Seungmin, offering encouragement whenever he could.

During their duo performance, Seungmin stumbled, both in the choreography and the lyrics. His mistake was noticeable, and it sent a wave of embarrassment crashing over him. He barely held it together for the rest of the concert.

Backstage, Jisung found him sitting alone, his head in his hands. "Minnie, baby," Jisung said softly, sitting down beside him. "What's wrong?"

"I messed up," Seungmin choked out, tears streaming down his face.

Jisung wrapped his arms around him, pulling him close. "No, you didn't, sunshine. You made a tiny mistake, and that's okay. You're human. The fans love you no matter what, and so do I."

Seungmin sniffled, looking up at him. "You're not mad?"

"Mad? Of course not. In fact, I think we should keep it. Let's make it part of the choreography." Jisung smiled, his arm wrapping around the younger's waist.

Seungmin's face lit up with a small smile. He leaned into Jisung's embrace, feeling a weight lift from his shoulders.

"I love you, Ji," he whispered.

"I love you more, Minnie," Jisung replied, pressing a kiss to his temple.
