Queen of Kings / Ned Stark / Gendry Baratheon

"Now onto the fun part." Salem declared seeing the traitors. Rickon hid behind her.

"They were supposed to protect me. Instead..." he whispered.

"Its okay baby because I was here." Salem reminded him. "Now I take their useless fat heads."

"You are my sister, but I am king now." Jon reminded Sansa.

"Will you start wearing a crown?" She sassed. "You and salem start fucking like the Lannisters did?"

"Stop it! Whats gotten into you?"
Jon demanded. "When you question my decisions in front of the other lords and ladies, you undermine me." Jon breathed back in agony.

"So I can't question your decisions anymore?"

" Of course you can, but--"

"Joffrey never let anyone question his authority. You think he was a good king?" Sansa hissed and Jon stopped walking. Sansa walked past him, then turned to face him.

"Have you ever tried to question Salem?" Jon countered instead. "She would have your head Sansa." Sansa rolled her eyes yet again.  "Do you think I'm Joffrey?" Jon rasped.

"You're as far from Joffrey as anyone I've ever met."

"Thank you." Jon whispered.

"Bow you shits." Salem demanded swinging around jons long sword. "Now I have never done this before so it might take a few swings. Hold them steady-" they screamed and screamed begging forgiveness. "I might need to saw away at them for a while." She mused.

"Please!"

Salem got low bringing her face to theirs. Tormund smirked. He loved his woman more and more. They could see her pupils dilate making her eyes look black.

"You should have thought about the repercussions of your actions when you thought trading my little for status was a good idea." She gave a swing, at Umbers hand he fell forward looking at his severed hand. Karstark screamed in horror. "Before you chopped his wolfs head off as a peace offering." She added her blade sliced through the air. Karstark didnt flinch but he felt the sting before he saw his ear on the ground. He wailed out. "You boys are no fun for torture." Salem decided. It took three whacks for Umber and two for Karstark before theirs head lay before her.

"Should we bury them?" Turmond questioned.

"Bury them? Its good meat for the dogs. Just keep them away from the children. They dont need to see what has become of their fathers. Even though these men deserved it." Salem added marching off.

"You are good at this. You are. You are. They respect you, they really do, but you have to--" Sansa began but he chuckled stopping her. "Why are you laughing?"

"What did father used to say? Everything before the word "but" is horse shit." Jon informed her.

"He never said that to me." Sansa corrected.

"He said it to me." Salem agreed Handing back the sword. "I love this by the way. It was great. Real educational. I think Ramsay would have been proud." She added as an almost afterthought it just slipped out. "What were we talking about?" She questioned as they stared back at her.

"Buts." Jon answered. Salem chuckled. "No, he never cursed in front of his girls. Just salem apparently and the boys." Jon agreed.

"I spun enough shit that he didnt care towards the end." Salem agreed.

"Because he was trying to protect us. He never wanted us to see how dirty the world really is, but Father couldn't protect me and neither can you. Stop trying." Sansa begged.

"All right, I'll stop trying to protect you and you stop trying to undermine me." Jon agreed and Sansa scoffed.

"I protected you. I protected you sansa."  Salem corrected. Salem was right, she did protect sansa, she protected her from the start, from Joffrey from petyr, from ramsay, she protected her and yet sansa still felt like she deserved more.

"I'm not trying to undermine you." Sansa declared. "either of you! You have to be smarter than Father. You need to be smarter than Robb. I loved them, I miss them, but they made stupid mistakes, and they both lost their heads for it."

"Don't define their lives based off of those mistakes because they did a lot of good. They tried to do a lot of good sansa " Salem declared. "They were smart. They were brave." Salem rasped. She missed Robb, he was her twin, her best friend, her protector, she missed him.  "They werent just foolish, they were good. Don't diminish them."

"And how should I be smarter? By listening to you?" Jon spat back at sansa seeing the pain in Salem's eyes. Seeing Salem sad was a horrible sight to see because she was always so brave.

"Would that be so terrible?" Sansa hissed.

"A raven from King's Landing, Your Grace." Maester wolken remarked. He handed a bound note to Jon, then bowed and left. Jon sighed as he unraveled the note.

"Cersei of House Lannister, First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms--" Jon read off.

"Queen." Salem stepped forward reading over his shoulder.

"What does she want?" Sansa countered

"Come to King's Landing. Bend the knee or suffer the fate of all traitors." Jon informed them. Salem took it from Jon reading it over again. Her and Cersei were never close but they were also not sworn enemies, until now. Salem knew there could only be one queen and she was claiming that title.

" You've been so consumed with the enemy to the north, you've forgotten about the one to the south." Sansa informed him pompously.

"I'm consumed with the Night King because I've seen him. And believe me, you'd think of little else if you had, too."

" We still have a wall between us and the Night King. Theres nothing between us and Cersei." Sansa spat.

"There's a thousand miles between us and Cersei." salem corrected. "Winter is here. The Lannisters are a southern army. We are in the north you dumbass. They are not the problem right now!"

"Dont call me a dumbass!" Sansa whined.

"Then stop being one!" Salem demanded.

"Plus They've never ranged this far north." Jon agreed trying to diffuse their argument with reason.

"You're the military man, but I know her. If you're her enemy, she'll never stop until she's destroyed you. Everyone who's ever crossed her, she's found a way to murder." Sansa remarked confidently.

"As if I dont know her?" Salem sassed. "Sansa get your head out of your ass. Winter is coming, we are in charge. Not you. Go play dress up, or have a tea party. The grown ups have work to do."
