Chapter 5
The beginning
2006"Ohmygosh--" Y/n spoke through bites as she grabbed the warm bowel of ramen with both hands; pressing her lips to the rim she slurped down the broth. "Now this is what I'm talking about. This is Roppongi!"
Shooting her hand up into the air she ordered another bowl of the ramen, opting to try something new not knowing if she'd ever visit this restaurant again.
Seated across from her still on his first bowl was none other than Gojo Satoru who gaped at the younger girl.
"You're not full yet?" He posed the rhetorical question which the girl didn't even bother answering.
Time has long passed since they completed their mission of clearing the building of curses. Gojo having to step in and do most if not all the work at the end as Y/n had exhausted herself.
Which resulted in a what felt like a never ending lecture about not exhausting her cursed energy when she didn't need to.
What Gojo couldn't answer was how he ended up taking Y/n to the lively part of the city. Letting her go into any store she wanted bags of souvenirs rested on the floor by her shoes.
"This is like the best day ever." She sat back in the chair as she waited for her next bowl to arrive, hand rubbing circles over her stomach which Satoru was beginning to think might just be an endless pit.
"So, about earlier---" Gojo began just to be cut off by Y/n's groan as threw her head back slightly in irritation.
"Gojo-senpai I get it you don't have to tell me how to preserve my curse energy again." She rubbed her temple, making eye contact with the boy sitting across from her when she heard him chuckle.
"No, this isn't about that. I wanted to ask you about your technique." Satoru asked, leaning forward in his chair he propped his elbow up on the table to rest his cheek on his palm. Glasses falling down his nose Y/n caught a glimpse of his intimidating cyan eyes curtained by long white lashes.
"Oh, that." Y/n cleared her throat, mind playing back the moment she had to use a nunchuck. Reaching to where her scroll laid she placed it on the table, the rope encircling it keeping the contents secret. "This is my cursed technique called arsenal."
Holding up her fist she stuck up her thumb, similar to how she did while fighting off the curse.
"The seal in this scroll is a door and my blood is the key." Opening up her palm the scroll suddenly jolted from the table and snapped back into her grasp. "Some think it's just like any ordinary cursed object but it isn't, only I can use it."
She tossed the scroll back and forth between her hands, the boy with a short attention span actually listening attentively for once.
"What makes the weapons so strong is actually the fact that I have no control in what the scroll choses to give me in the moment." She added, "Each weapon actually has a special technique but I haven't quite learned how to figure that out yet..." She trailed off as if she was deep in thought, but this was disrupted as the server returned with a steaming hot bowl of noodles.
Just like that her attention was placed on the bowl in front of her, completely disregarding the question asked by her senior.
2 Bowls later, a bloated Y/n trailed behind Gojo who was holding her bags of souvenirs.
"Gojo-senpai slow downnn..." Y/n groaned, the itis hitting her like a dosage of hard pills. Fatigue was written all over her movements as she dragged herself along the wall following the white haired boy.
