My alarm goes off and I wake up at the second verse of the tune. I grab my phone from the nightstand and look at my lockscreen, Saturday 10 am. I stretch and get out of bed.
I put black dresspants on with a grey sweater and a white undershirt. I go to the bathroom to do the rest of my routine. My hair is simple, just a slickback with some curly strands hanging on top of my forehead.
I finish my routine and walk downstairs to make some breakfast since my stomach is grumbling. I see my sister sitting in a barstool at the kitchen island. "Goodmorning." I say while I walk towards her. She turns her head to me and says, "Morning. Where are you going all dressed up so early?" She asks with a cheeky smile. "Stella's." She looks at me with confusion. "To do what?" "To give her extra lessons." She shakes her head. "Because her grades are dropping." I add. "She never told me that, I'm surprised." She says. "Do you know why her grades are dropping?" I ask Angel. "No, but I'm guessing she doesn't have a lot of time to study because she needs to babysit Valeria all the time." I give her an understanding nod.
I make breakfast for me and Angel, toast with some eggs. I sit next to her and we dig in.
We talked for an hour in the kitchen, catching up with eachother about the things we did this week. We finish breakfast, and I do the dishes. Angel goes back to her room and I grab my stuff and put it in a bag to go to Stella's house.
I grab my car keys of the coffee-table. "I'm leaving!" I shout in the direction of Angel's room. I hear a 'bye' coming from her room.

I knock on the front door. It takes a minute before someone opens the door, it's Stella. She's wearing grey sweatpants with a navy blue sweater and her hair in a ponytail, even on a stay at home day she looks 'put together'. "Hey, come in." She says with a bright smile. She waves her hand gesturing for me to come inside. I step inside, I hang my jacket up and take my shoes off.
"So where are we going to study?" I ask her. "My room will be fine." She says. I nod. She leads the way to her room upstairs at the very end of the hallway. It's quiet in her house, I'm guessing no one is home at the moment. "It's quiet here, everyone left the house?" She turns her head to me and nods. "Yes, even Valerie." She sighs. "Why? it's a Saturday." She opens the door of her room and we enter. "Mom and dad are having a mini vacation until Monday and I don't know where the rest is." She says while she grabs some of her supplies to study. "Why didn't you go with them?" I ask. She gestures to me to sit next to her at her desk. "Everything was last minute, and I had this already planned with you." I give her an understanding nod. "Oh I totally forgot! Do you want something to drink?" I let out a quick chuckle. "Water, please." "Be right back." She walks out of the room.
I look around in her room. It's tidied up and clean. She has a big room with beautiful big windows, so that the sun can light up her whole room. She has a kingsize bed in the corner next to the windows. Her bathroom and walk in closet are connected to the other side of the windows. And next to the door is her desk. Everything is mostly pink and white, her favorite color since I met her.
She enters the room again with 2 glasses of water in her hands. She puts them on the desk and sits next to me again. I put my supplies on the desk and we start our lesson.

We study for 2 hours. I teach her new things and help her with a subject she doesn't understand. Even though this is our first extra lesson she's already improving. We get to an easy subject but she doesn't understand it. "Did you study for this? Because if you did you would already know this." I say to her. She shakes her head. "I haven't had the time yet." "How so?" I ask her. I see her fidget with her hands in the corner of my eye. "I don't know... I just have been babysitting Valerie a lot." She lowers her head to the ground. I lay my hand on her hands. "Stop that, you're making me nervous." She stops fidgeting with her hands and relaxes under my touch. She lifts her head up again and she looks at me with a pink shade on her cheeks. I clear my throat and remove my hand. "But isn't Katy always home? How come you need to babysit Valerie?" I ask her. "The last few weeks everyone has been busy with my dad's company and stuff, especially mom and dad. Daimon has also has been helping dad a lot since he's taking over his company and needs to learn a lot. Katy helps Daimon so she's gone a lot to go with him." I see a slight change of expression on her face.
"I don't mind babysitting her, but it gets exhausting when I have to do it everyday, and it's their kid." She continues talking. "I understand, I can help sometimes if you want." Her eyes lit up and she smiles widely. "That would be great! Thank you." She says with a high pitched voice. "It's no problem." I give her a comforting smile.
"You want something to eat?" She asks. "Sure." I say. We clean up my stuff from her desk and put it back in my bag. I help her clean her desk up and put everything where it belongs. We walk out of her room and go downstairs to the kitchen.
"What do you want to eat?" She looks at me. "Hm, surprise me." She giggles. She grabs ingredients from the pantry and the fridge. I sit in a barstool at the kitchen island, looking at what she's doing.
She makes a simple omelette for the both of us. We eat together at the dining table and we talk about random stuff. Suddenly an alarm from her phone goes off, she looks at it. "There's a snow storm coming..." she says concerned. "Is it a bad one?" She nods. "Yeah, I don't think you're able to go home in this weather, it's not safe." I sigh. "So what do I do then?" I ask her. "Hm... you can sleep in the spare bedroom."
