1 day until new year. This past week has been so boring. I haven't talked to Angel since that conversation.
I'm just now realizing that I have no friends, but it's fine I enjoy my own company, and I have my family, obviously.
I lay in my bed rotting, having absolutely nothing to do. I hear my phone buzzing on the other side of the bed. I pick it up to see what the notification is. 'Jayden has requested to follow you' Jayden? Let me check his profile. Oh...it's Jayden from class. Might as well accepted since we're friends, I guess? I follow him back and lay my phone back on the bed again.
Another buzz. Huh? He texted me.
Jayden: Hey Me: Heyy, what's up? Jayden: Nothing, you got that assignment done? Me: Seriously? Is that why you followed me? Jayden: No, not really. But it would be great if you have that assignment.
I palm my face. Everyone is the same. I'm not in the mood for this.
Me: Do it yourself, you're not a baby. Jayden: 😪
I sigh heavily and close my phone. Oh right, totally forgot that I have to see the Rodriguez siblings tomorrow. I roll my eyes, I have now realized that they clearly have the same personality.
Somebody knocks on the door and interrupts my stupid thoughts. "Yes?" I call out. Someone opens the door, and it's Katie holding a long black dress with glitters. I give her questioning look, "What's that for?" I ask her. "It's for you! For tomorrow." She tells with a big smile that reaches her ears. "It will look so good on you!" She adds. "Come on! Try it on." She insists. I roll my eyes and grab the dress. "Fine..."
Katie leaves the room and I undress myself from my pj's and dress myself into the black gown. It's so gorgeous, it hugs my curves in every right way and it compliments my hair and eyes. "Katie!" I shout. She comes rushing to my room. Her eyes widen and her jaw drops. "You look elegant! Wow!" She says with a high pitched voice. "You need to wear this tomorrow." I nod in agreement with her.
How shall I do my hair? Maybe an updo, that would look amazing with this open back. Yes, an updo it is, and gold jewelry to accessories. I'm going to look so stunning tomorrow! I'm also definitely going to keep this dress for my graduation.
I change into my pj's again and get back into my comfy bed. Buzz, another notification from Jayden.
Jayden: Stella? Me: What do you want? 😒 Jayden: nothing, I just want to talk to you. Me: Mhm, about what? Jayden: I don't know.
I'm bored, so why not talk to him? Nothing bad will happen.
Me: Okay... so, what are you going to do tomorrow? Jayden: I'm going to a New Year's party with some friends, hbu? Me: I'm going to celebrate new years with my family and family friends. I wish I could go to a party like you, I'm so jealous! Jayden: Why don't you come by and check it out? Me: I don't think I can, my parents would kill me. Jayden: Come on! Just sneak out around 1 am or smt. Me: Fine... but if I get caught I'll blame you. Jayden: Deal, I'll see you there. 😉
