"So you want me to invite the person who caused your brother pain this summer and tricked me into thinking he was him to lunch to convince him to bring back Bonnie?" I asked Damon on the phone.
The last four days have been calm so far. We had a small memorial for Bonnie, which I skipped because I had a hangover, and Stefan spent the entire morning holding my hair back while I puked out my insides. Then we just stayed in my house watching movies and eating junk before he left to see Caroline. At the same time, Bonnie and I researched how to bring her back and what destroying the other side actually means. Which led Damon to come up with his own lousy plan.
"Oh please, I know you're dying to talk to him." He says, and I can hear his eyes rolling from here. "Just try to butter him up so he won't backstab us when he gets what he wants. Maybe if he knows how much Bonnie means to you, he will help."
"Damon, he controlled her mind, tormented her with her dead boyfriend, then killed her father." I list dryly. "I don't think he gives a fuck what she means to me."
