Tobee was handcuffed to a chair.

He blinked, and his vision was clearer.

He heard footsteps, and a whimper.

Don't do this, sir. Please, Tobee heard.

He opened his eyes, and he saw Alison with a gun to her head.

Alison was crying.

"What the fuck, Ali?" Tobee whispered.

"Please, let me be!" the friend shouted.

Tobee heard a smack.

"What the fuck is this?" Tobee yelled. "What is this?"

He noticed specks of blood on the yellow wall.

Tobee saw his friend get injected with a syringe, and the friend's head slumped.

"Welcome to The Zombie Outbreak, Tobee."

The boy looked at the man who grasped his friend. "Who the fuck are you? Don't hurt her!"

The rather slim man laughed. "I've done that part for the past two weeks."

"You fucking kidnapped her! Let us go!"

The man laughed again. "Alison walked into my trap, and I needed another test subject."

Tobee looked at his weak friend.

Was this what she'd meant by she thought that she was going to die?

It all happened so fast, or he thought.

"We've done nothing."

The man pushed Alison to the floor, walking to Tobee.

The man smirked at the boy.

Tobee saw two six-foot men with handguns tower over Alison.

"I know that you've done nothing wrong. I needed test subjects for my device."

The man smiled.

The handcuffs were tight around the boy, making his wrists red.

"If you give me ten dollars, I will release you both."

Tobee's eyes widened, and—

"I have money. It's in my pocket." Tobee heard Alison stutter.

The man grabbed the money from her pants' pocket, scoffing. "I knew that none of you had money. This is a fake two dollars, you son of a bitch."

Three smacks and a scream, Tobee sobbed.

"Stop it, stop it! Let us go!" Tobee yelled.

The man tossed aside the metal bat, smirking at Tobee.

The man was so close to Tobee's face.

"I can smell the fear and sadness in that girl. She's shaking right now, but you can't do anything about it. She's scared; she always has been since she wandered into this building."

Tobee swallowed. "Didn't her parents file a missing person's report?"

The man shook his head. "I'm her parents' friend, so I convinced her mother that she was feeling depressed. In reality, I was making her feel that."

"What do you mean?"

"I made her feel like she was worth nothing to this world. I bet she's been texting you how she's been feeling."

Tobee's skin crawled, his eyebrows narrowed. "You're a fucking bitch."

Tobee felt stinging on his cheek, betting there's a mark on it.

The slim man laughed.

"How dare you hurt my friend! I thought that she was having suicidal thoughts, I thought that I was going crazy!"

"She was having suicidal thoughts, but it was for my benefit."

Tobee heard the faint whimpers of his friend, and he could bet that she was ready to die.

The boy felt nauseous.

"I can turn any human into a zombie with this syringe. I've already released three or more zombies in my lab that's located somewhere else, but I love the reaction that it's getting."

The boy stared at him. "Are you going to turn me into a zombie?"

He felt his wrists loosen, the handcuffs from his hands and his feet hitting the floor.

The man smirked, and all of the men walked out of the room.

Tobee heard a click.

The boy stood, feeling nervous.

He walked to Alison, walking by her broken glasses.

Alison rolled on her back, hyperventilating.

Her crying and bewildered eyes stared at the ceiling.

"Oh my gosh, Alison. Ali, please. Ali..."

He saw her sob and scratch her chest.

Tobee put his hand on Alison's chest, feeling the heartbeat.

"Ali, it's going to be fine. We're going to get out of here."

A crash started Tobee.

Tobee stepped back, seeing his friend's eyes turn red.

He watched Alison stand, her face angered.

He stepped back again, grabbing the syringe off of the floor.

Alison backed Tobee into a corner, her natural blonde hair mangled.

Tobee cried as he saw his friend's sharp teeth.

"Ali, please don't do this. You're—"

A bang of the door, hundreds of zombies surrounded Alison.

Tobee sobbed, covering his face.

He realized that the syringe wouldn't do any good, and that he was going to be eaten.

He was trapped.

The boy slid down the wall, his head in between his knees.

He was shaking.

He realized that there was no way to escape.

He wanted to help his friend, but it was too late.

He realized the reality that he was going to be the creature that Alison was...
