Chapter 5

I was tired like too much literally and I was so close to sleep on my couch just then my dad came with the sweet box in his hand that was my favourite one and my mom and akansha also came there also with confused look on their faces....well I was also confused right now cause I don't know the reason for his happy look on his face but I am happy that he has this look...he has done many things in our life...I am grateful to him...my hero...

I asked him " what happened, papa...why are you so happy...share the good news with us, we all deserve to be happy." with a smile on my face
He gave his sweetest smile "I have been promoted to the manager's position..." and we like what....I mean we were damn happy, his hard work paid off. "That's great news" akansha exclaimed..."You were the most suited candidate for that position and now it is handed over to you...your company is not completely stupid" she continued
"Hey... don't disrespect the hands that are feeding us. We get food on our table because I work in that company" papa revolted.. Akansha rolled her eyes..."I saw that young woman" dad said with fake anger in his voice...
"Also there is also a big celebration in the company as it's company's anniversary and all the managers are invited with their family, I mean manager of course for work purposes but their family can also accompany them and enjoy.." papa continued with a big grin on his face. He was really happy and seeing him like that made me happy too..
"So when is the party" I asked with great excitement
"Tomorrow, at 7'0clock, you all better be ready before that" dad said with Stern voice
"We will don't worry....afterall it's your company's party and free food is always welcomed " I said sheepishly
"Ya right, like I don't feed you " this time it was mom, well she tends to take little jokes to heart but what can we do isn't all mom's like that...
With some more bickering we all retired to our rooms as we all are tired and excited also for tomorrow
It's gonna be a exciting day

Tomorrow at night
"Girls!! Come down fast we are getting late" mom yelled from downstairs
Now whose going to tell her that it takes time to be perfect for such a grand celebration and also we sisters love to ready our selves

"Uhh!!akku it's getting late both are yellow colour take any one of those jhunkas (earings) why can't you decide it fast" I yelled at my sister
"Both are not the same as they are bigger and they are smaller and this..." I cut her off in the middle"ok ok just hurry up" with this I descended downstairs...

"Ma, I am ready" with this I twirl for her to see and I saw a glint of admiration in her eyes...uhh my hardwork paid off
"You are looking so beautiful!!!God you don't catch an evil eyes" with this she applied kala tika behind my ears
"Where is akku though..?"she asked
"Can't decide the jhumka she has to pair her dress with..."I sighed
"God, this girl..like she is some diva and people are there to only catch her glimpse " mom replied with slight irritation
"Akku you are coming downstairs in 5 minutes otherwise we are leaving you here with your jhumkas" mom yelled angrily
After sometime dad came to take us with him and akku also came and we ourselves escorted us to the venue
And there was only one word that escaped our mouths "GORGEOUS!!!"
The hotel was so big and so beautifully decorated goodness every single thing screams money ...damn being rich is also bliss ...
"Wow di it's so beautiful"akku exclaimed
"Yup!! couldn't agree more and I can also experience management of this big hotel my goodness too much to learn..it's my luckiest day" I was really excited for this
"Di you are right..with workers doing so much work I will find people who have low bps and all nice experience " she said .
"Akku don't bring your doctor's soul here"I replied
"Exactly "she said showing her eyes to me
"He he he he I ..that.." I was somewhat embarrassed...I guess
"Both of you stop and let's head inside the hotel " dad said
We also made ourselves comfortable and replied"Ok"...

I was really excited for this without being aware that how much event going to cost me in the future...that my luckiest day going to turn into my worst nightmares.....
