Heartstrings 1: Gemini and Sandy

Chapter 9

Another 2 years have passed, it's my time again to have a vacation in PH. For those 2 years, a lot of things have happened. Our relationship has been revealed to Mrs. Wang at sa mansion at syempre kay Sir Chen na super saya sa nangyari. It brings happiness to Abuela and all the people we know, but is hidden from the public. For my family's safety. My kids also know. They wanted to meet him, but we've been very careful. Sir and I had this different relationship, we just enjoy things. Mrs. Wang wanted us to get married, as her only successor, sir Gemini should get married and have kids too. We both don't believe in marriage. We just want to enjoy our lives together with each other. After graduating from a prestigious university in Macau I was immediately hired by Mrs. Wang's company as her executive secretary. But it took only a couple of months as she stepped down on her position and gave it to sir Gemini, making him manage his firm and their family business. He became the richest man in the country but remained humble.
Things get hardy, the company's board members and investors keep on stressing Sir Gemini to get himself a wife and a successor as he is  close to golden years. I was in that conference room and I also hate it. But everyone was shocked especially me when he suddenly announced our relationship and is our wedding in a couple of months. I mean we never talked about it and with Mrs. Wang's permission we agreed to just be with each other without doing something like marriage. I was more shocked when he said that I am currently pregnant with our first child.
Paano nya nalaman? I never told him or anyone. I wanted my pregnancy to keep hidden until 5months, I'm afraid that I might experience stillbirth again as I was told by an OB that I am a high risk. I silently gone to the OBGyne few times just for assurance. Pero sure ako na hindi sasabihin yon ng OB ko.
The meeting ended well and we were both rained with congratulatory messages. The investors and VIPs met me already and they actually liked me because of my bright and loud personality. They sometimes set me up to their sons, at grabe ang inis ni Sir Gemini all the time. Sayang din eh, ang hot at nice din kasi ng mga anak nila. Madamot daw kasi sya lalo na kung pag-aari nya. Hahahaha. Sus! Kinikilig naman din ako sa mga arte nyang ganoon.
When we drive home, I ask him why he did that; the announcement things. He just responded that it will definitely happen the soonest at totoo naman daw lahat nang yon. I asked him, "How about the pregnancy thing?" He said with a smirk "Don't worry we'll do it tonight, I will be putting a baby in there" pointing my belly. Right there and then, I wanted to tell him that I really am pregnant. But I decided not to yet, tsaka nalang pag nakapagpa-ultrasound na ako.
At home. It was a bit early pa, I still have time to eat. I decided to cook korean chicken and we also had a clubhouse sandwich. We enjoyed the meal and rested up the night. We've been sleeping in his room for more than a year now. Kasi kahit naman hiwalay kami ng room, he would literally kidnapped me to his or sleep in mine.
4am nagising nalang kami sa tawag galing sa mansion, saying Bella is dying. While wearing my pajamas we rushed to the ER vet. Arriving there nakita ko na umiiyak na si Mrs. Wang historically. Then the vet came from the OR, saying that hindi na daw nya kayang i-save si Bella, ung venom daw kasi  nakarating na sa brain nya, but we still have time to say goodbye. My world  crumpled, I cried and rushed to Bella, she wagged her tail amidst the pain she's in when she saw us, I hugged her and said sorry and thank her. Simula kasi nang naging ok na si Bella kasama na ni Mrs. Wang ito sa room, nagising daw si Mrs. Wang na nakikipaglaban si Bella sa isang venomous snake na nakapasok sa room nya. Buti nalang walang nangyari kay Mrs. Wang, niligtas sya ni Bella risking her own life. Kahit alam ko at nakikita ko na nahihirapan si Bella, mapapansin parin ung smile sa mata nya, as if saying that she didn't regret what happened and was thankful that she saved Mrs. Wang. We said goodbye and after 3minutes Bella died in my arms. I suddenly forgot that I am pregnant. Sobrang  nasaktan talaga ako sa nangyari, Bella is my baby. I grief at hindi na nakakain nang maayos ng ilang araw. Sir Gemini didn't leave me  the whole time. 3 days after Bella's cremation, I feel pain in my lower abdomen, but thought it was just from the pain of grief. Sir Gemini cooked dinner after work, and I suddenly collapsed .He rushed me to the hospital. Nagising ako at mukha ni Sir Gemini ung nakita ko, puno ng pagaalala at guilt. Bigla kong naalala kung anong nangyari, umiyak ako at tinanong ko sya if kumusta ang baby namin. He hugged me and said they're safe, thank God. Nagulat ako . They?? He said that we're having twins, boys. Pero nagtatampo daw sya sakin bakit hindi ko sinabi. I said sorry and explained my reasons, he just kissed my hands and then my tummy and said it's  ok.
Then Mrs. Wang arrived at derecho hinampas si  Sir Gemini, blaming him for not noticing or asking me. She hugged me. Tapos dumating na yong doctor, sinabi na high risk ako, that I needed to rest until my full term. Iwasan daw muna mastress and have eat healthy foods.
So nagusap kami, Mrs. Wang decided to let me stay in the mansion and will hire a personal nurse and nutritionist. Juskoooo nakakaloka, dapat daw kasi protektahan ang successor ng kanyang kompanya. Sir Gemini agreed and decided to also stay there to keep an eye on me, matigas pa naman  daw ulo ko. Di daw sya sigurado sa mga kalokohan ko. Kilalang kilala na talaga  ako ni Sir. HAHAHAHAHA
Ganoon ang naging set up namin, di na kami nakapagreklamo, ang laki at cozy ng room na binigay samin, malapit sa dog's quarter. Ultimo pagtayo at pagpunta ko sa cr, kailangan monitored ng nurse. Ung meal plan ko,  si Sir Gemini mismo ang nagprepare with  the help of the nutritionist. Buhay donya literal, pag papasok na si  Sir Gemini sa office, ginagawa ko lang makipaglaro sa dogs and kakain, nood videos and keeping myself busy like trying to paint and crochet.  At pagsagot sa halos oras oras na tawag ng daddy ng kambal, kahit nakikita nya naman ako through the cctv on his phone.
Hindi narin sya pumupunta ng ibang bansa habang pregnant ako, making Sir Chen complain a lot. Kasi sya ang palaging umaattend ng meetings for Sir Gemini abroad.
At 38 weeks naglabor ako, nagkagulo buong mansion, kasi I wasn't supposed to experience labor, my cs was scheduled 5days pa kaso my water broke while having dinner. Sobrang  chaotic talaga, kasi lahat sila nataranta na walang nadala kahit  ano, kundi ako lang. Without all the papers and things that I and the twins needed. Kahit pa sinabi ko na nasa isang lagayan lang, I already prepared it pero wala talaga.
At lalong nagakagulo sa hospital nang dumating ako, lahat ng doctors and nurses nataranta, that hospital was also owned by Mrs. Wang. And after 3 hours nasa room na kami. Paggising ko naramdaman ko nalang na may nagpupunas sa mukha ko ng warm towel, it's Sir Gemini. Pinatawag agad ung mga doctor, and then they checked up on me. I was fine daw, normal lahat ng test and ung stitches is fine. Tapos  pinasok na ung twins, ang cute nila, walang bahid ng dugong pagkaPinoy. Singkit, mahaba at maputi .
The pediatrician said that they needed to eat. Alam ko na wala pa akong milk but they needed to suck the colostrum. But they already have ready  bottles of breast milk from the nursery. Malamang binili nila. Thankfully may milk na pala sabay ko na silang pinadede, nagaalala man ung maglola baka daw mahirapan ako, kasi kakagising ko palang. Even asked the doctors about it, pero sa tulong ng 2 nurse ng family at ng midwife na hired nila when I enter my 3rd trime napwesto nang maayos at nakadodo ang hungry babies ko.
Kinabukasan nagulat ako dumating ang aking mga anak. Sinundo pala sila ni  Sir Gemini sa Pinas. Napakasaya ko talaga.
2 years later, my kids are all living in Macau, sa mansion. When my twin turned 1, we got married. It was a grandiose wedding, even featured in the news. We have had a lot of shares of struggles too but I'm finally happy kasi mayaman na ako. Hahahaha. At ako ay ikinasal sa isa sa pinakamayaman na tao sa bansa. I was mocked and had been judged by everyone just because I'm just a maid and ended up marrying one of the richest men in Macau.
Kaya mas minabuti nalang din  namin na sa mansion na ang mga bata para sa safety din nila.
Ako man hindi rin naisip at na-imagine na mangyayari ang lahat nang to sa akin. Hindi man nakita nang iba ang lahat ng paghihirap ko and the amount of work I did kung kaya't narating ko ito. They say my life is like Cinderella but I know it was totally different.
