Meanwhile, Lily, Percy and Sean walk back outside the long dark misty hallway, Lily and Percy observe their surroundings, with their weapons in the air. while Sean goofed along to his heart's content.
"Is he going to take things seriously for once?" Lily asked while her expression was annoyed by the noise of Sean's vocables as he frolicked around.
"I don't know, let go of your grudge with him Lily." answered Percy as he added a suggestion.
Sean heard Lily's complaints and decided to just walk properly and stayed quiet like a normal person would.
They continued to walk for hours, Percy and Lily's stamina were starting to slow down.
"How are you guys tired already? It's just a long hallway." Sean wondered aloud.
"How the heck are your legs not tired?" Lily was in a bad mood from the exhaustion of the long walk.
"I dunno, i'm just used to it" he answered like it was an ordinary question.
Lily couldn't stand Sean's naive nature. Percy just tapped her shoulder (Let it slide.) As they continued to walk forward.
"Would you guys want a break? You can regain your strength as you rest." Sean offered to the group.
"We'd love that!" answered Percy.
"Sweet! Let's go!" Sean exclaimed as he took the lead.
The three walked the long hallway for a minute. Everywhere they looked was just doors with numbered labels in them. Sean then eventually found a room. "Here you can rest in this room." Sean showed them. The two offered their thanks to him. "Oh no need to thank me. Let's get in here before a crazy soul sees us." he said.
Sean opened the door. The room looked disgusting and creepy. It was like every other room. It had a stained dirty bed, the paint was tearing off the walls (The cracks are visible too.) The vase had dead flowers in it. And the floor was covered with carcass and dust. Ants and other insects crawled in the floors, similar to the worst prison cells.
"Out of all the things you could choose, you choose this filthy dirthouse to take a break?" Lily said as she started to lose her temper. Sean nodded with a naive smile on his face. "In fact no soul ever goes here. This place is too filthy even for them." he mentioned. "Why does your psychology make no sense?" Lily muttered to herself.
"I heard that you know?" Sean informed her. "I'll let it slide." as he gave her a cute smile with both of his thumbs sticking out.
"Okay I have to admit that your smile is adorable." Lily complimented him.
"Thanks!" Sean replied. "I've got a gift for you." he then proceeded to stand up and approached the small flower vase sitting on the table's desk. He took the dead flowers off the vase and made a crown with it, he then showed it to Lily with droplets of water dripping off its dead stems. "I made it as my gift of friendship." Sean said happily "Do you like it?"
Lily took the wet flower crown, she was speechless. She was in between liking it and kind of disgusted by it. "It's uhh great!" she stammered, as she didn't want to hurt his feelings.
"If you're disgusted by it, I'm sorry about the flowers, they never use fake ones here." he said smiling.
Lily let out a little chuckle. Percy then asked Sean "How long have you been here?" Sean stopped for a moment, as if he was just asked to give out one of his darkest secrets.
"Uhh, anyways the sun doesn't shine brighter than usual." he said as he tried to change the topic. Percy stood up and made eye contact with Sean. "Answer my question Sean." he looked a bit serious and mad. Sean then answered "You'll never get me to talk!" as he looked away with his arms crossed.
