A Few more months later
"Congratulations to the newly wedded couple."
Everyone in the room cheered clinking their glasses with each other while constantly congratulating the newly wedded couple who just got married last month.
"I still can't believe he literally got married," Mingyu pointed out as he eyed his friend Seungkwan singing his heart out along with Soonyoung and Seokmin. "It was kinda shocking, right?" Jihoon added, sipping on his juice, not wanting to get drunk along with his husband who was already drunk as hell.
"Well, not as shocking as yours though," Joshua snickered while enjoying his drink only to be glared at by the said person. "I second that," Mingyu said clinking his glass with Joshua's. "Not as surprised as me though," Scoups said pouting.
"I still remember Jihoon's face from that day," Jeonghan added as he put down the snacks in front of them. "And I was the one who got yelled at for nothing, as in nothing," Chan huffed as he harshly put down the extra plates as if he was taking revenge from that day.
"But the most funny expression was given by Wonwoo though," Jun laughed as he remembered the day as clear as day only to be smacked by his best friend Wonwoo who was sitting next to him.
Nine years ago
"Hyung, is Soonyoung hyung dating someone? He's kinda glowing," Seungkwan asked Jihoon who was busy eating his own food. But the sudden question caught him off guard as he choked on his food. Mingyu quickly passed the water bottle to the older as Seungkwan patted his back.
"Why are you asking me this?" Jihoon hissed ignoring his own rossy cheeks. "You're in the same class, duh," Seungkwan shrugged rolling his eyes. "Oh, c'mon they don't even get along. They're literally on each other's tails," Joshua said as a matter of fact. "But that's because Jihoon is the one to get on his nerves first," Scoups added as he munched on his food.
"Can we not talk about him?" Jihoon pleaded, hiding himself among the others as he didn't want to embarrass himself more by knowing what he had done to the older. "See?" Seungcheol said in an amused tone as if he just proved his own point.
They dropped the topic for now but Jihoon couldn't help looking at the said boy who was sitting a few tables away from theirs. He felt his cheeks getting hotter as he saw how the other boy was laughing along with his two other friends. He looked away as soon as their eyes met.
But curiosity got the best of him as he again peeked at the said boy who was already looking at him. His face flushed as the other boy winked at him. "Hyung, are you okay? Are you coming down with a fever?" Mingyu asked worriedly as he saw how red the other boy's face was. Jihoon shook his head as he took his tray and ran out of the cafeteria.
