Jihoon lazily dragged himself towards the locker room through the now empty hallway. He sighed for the nth time today as he walked down the hallway. He could feel his energy draining out faster than usual as he took every step.
If human beings could see their energy parentage like phones Jihoon was sure his would be constantly reminding him to get recharged soon, not to die of course.
Earlier today Jihoon got called out by his home room teacher along with some other students who still hadn't decided about their future. He knew he couldn't escape from it any longer.
Next year he'll be in his senior year and he knew he had to take a decision sooner. He knew it all along. Deep down Jihoon knew what he wanted to be but he was too scared to say it out loud. He was insecure about his future.
The consultation with his homeroom teacher didn't go very well as the other person only said what Jihoon already knew, nothing more. Nothing out of ordinary to push him forward. Nothing simple to get him out of his fears. Nothing.
Jihoon didn't even notice when he reached the locker room as he looked up to meet his locker door. He sighed for the nth plus one time before opening the locker door. He smiled weakly as he saw the familiar sticky note in its regular place with a paper crane underneath it. He carefully picked it up.
The note was so simple yet it made his eyes teared up as he read it over and over again. Jihoon didn't know if those were the words he wanted to hear or not but he knew what he needed to do now. He slid the note in his pocket and furiously rubbed off the tears from his eyes. He slammed the locker door before sprinting towards the teacher's room.
Jihoon unintentionally opened the door of the teacher's room harshly before shouting while looking directly at his homeroom teacher. He was way too excited to notice that he had cursed while shouting which made the teacher spit out the water he was drinking.
"I wanna be a fucking producer."
