"Fire!"
Loud explosions rang through Hongjoong's ears as he spat out his commands. Shouts and screams filled the humid air as the Captain fired shots into the bloody water. He didn't care how many lives he took; he just wanted him to feel yet a small part of the grief he felt when a brother was taken from him.
How dare these pathetic creatures based on lust and deceit take someone he raised through the merciless seas?
How dare these slimy creatures take what was his?
How dare?!
"Man the cannons, draw yer swords!" Hongjoong screamed at the top of his lungs as he grabbed onto a rope and used it to swing to the opposite of the Destiny ship. "Together, we will weather on their soul!" He ran down and fired a shot into the water, aiming for the vicious fang-bared Sirens that came close to his ship. "Let's make 'em remember us forevermore!"
Cheers and shouts rang in response, causing a grim smile to grow on Hongjoong's face.
He ran up to the wheel, laughing as the fire began to eat the sea around them. Chaos, so much chaos, caused his heart to pump from the thrill.
"They dare take my brother of the sea? I will burn their waters and scale their tails!" Hongjoong shouted from behind the wheel, smiling as he saw Mingi grow mad with his gun. "Shoot between their eyes! Sirens can heal themselves in the water!" He shouted, feeling his boat shake back and forth as he saw the creatures fly above them, yanking people to go overboard.
Angry burned like fire within Hongjoong's soul, heart, and mind as he wanted nothing more than to destroy what was taken from his grasp. He didn't care about what they would lose or if they lost; he wanted to kill as many fish as he could with every last dying breath. No logic or reason would work for him, and the look Yunho had on his face proved that.
Yunho didn't want to do such a thing when they went there first.
Mingi was just as mad as Hongjoong, agreeing to everything he said with pure rage and grief.
Wooyoung went along, helping Mingi as they fought side by side.
San?
San fought like he never fought before. He felt as if he was the one that killed Jongho as grief and pain raged their his blood like cancer growing within his heart, how the tumor of guilt ate his entire body like fungi to a corpse.
Hongjoong failed as a Captain, and he would not fail again.
"Hongjoong!" His name was called below him, the cry desperate and confused. Hongjoong looked down to see Seonghwa hanging onto the balcony railing surrounding the door to the Cpatain's quarters. Hongjoong had placed him in his room to keep him safe. Even if he didn't like the scum, everything he worked so hard would be unless the elf died. "Please! Stop this!"
"Are ye mad? I can't stop now!" Hongjoong giggled as he leaned over and grabbed a rope to support his rope. "I am finally-."
"This is not your decision to decide!" Seonghwa breathly screamed. "Would Jongho have wanted you to risk what you worked so hard for simple revenge on creatures known for their cruelty? You knew what you signed up for, so stop acting like a deranged spoiled brat!"
