"A young man walked through the forest with his quiver and hunting bow~."
As the Siren's melodic voice reverberated through the room, he began to move his hands in a graceful and fluid manner. His fingers danced effortlessly in the air, seemingly choreographed to the rhythm of the music. As he continued his movements, the audience found themselves entranced by his performance, unable to look away from the mesmerizing display. It was as if his hands were conducting an invisible orchestra, and all those who listened were caught in the spell of his enchanting music.
"He heard a young girl singing~," he sang, Jongho's strumming matching the beat he sang. "And followed the sound below~."
Hongjoong watched his Seonghwa move his way to the front, narrowing as the Siren only sang as his voice bewitched everyone with ears to hear.
"There he found the maiden~ Who lives in the willow~ He called to her as she listened~ From a ring of toadstools red~," Siren moved his body like he was drifting in the ocean current, his eyes slowly looking toward Seonghwa as if he was waiting for something.
"Come with me, my maiden~ Come from thy willow bed~," Seonghwa sang, surprising Hongjoong and Jongho, who kept strumming. No one noticed, only bewitched by their voices as the older crew stared blankly at the breathtaking Siren. The children clapped along to the song, smiling at the elegant and majestic creature before them.
How the child still had pure hearts, still waiting to be dipped in blood ink that stains the soul.
Yeosang's face lit up with a grin as he closed his eyes and began to sing once again. Seonghwa joined in, and together they harmonized beautifully. However, as they continued to sing the song, Yeosang's previously cheerful expression began to fade. He couldn't help but mirror Seonghwa's frown and sad eyes, as the emotion behind the lyrics began to weigh heavily on both of them. Despite this, they continued to sing with passion and dedication, pouring their hearts out into the music.
Their song...Hongjoong listened with great care.
As he stood there in the midst of the crew, Hongjoong could hear the sound of their song being sung by the Elf and Siren, enemies at heart joining to sing a song of sorrow. He made an effort to listen closely to each word being sung, trying to understand the meaning behind their melody. The song spoke of a tragic tale of a man who forcefully took a woman away from the forest, cutting down everything she held dear in the process. Despite the sorrowful message of the song, Hongjoong couldn't help but appreciate the beauty of their voices and the power of their storytelling.
''She looked at him serenely
And only shook her head
See me now, a ray of light in the moondance
See me now, I cannot leave this placeHear me now, a strain of song in the forest
Don't ask me, to follow where you lead
A young man walked through the forestWith a flower and coat of green
His love had hair like fire
Her eyes an emerald sheen
She wrapped herself in beauty
So young and so sereneHe stood there under the willow
