Y/N and Harry stood by the lakeside, tossing rocks into the nearly frozen river. Y/N watched the pebbles skip on the icy water's surface with a distant gaze. Even though Hermione had apparated them out of Godric's Hollow, Y/N's thoughts remained there.
"How are you holding up?" Harry finally broke the silence.
"I'm fine," Y/N replied almost automatically, but her expression turned puzzled. "Why do you ask?"
"I thought you killed him," Harry said bluntly, sending another pebble skimming across the water.
Y/N's jaw tightened as she remembered Xex, and she pursed her lips. She placed her hands on her hips and let out a quiet sigh.
"Seeing their graves, Lily and James, how was it?" Y/N tried to change the topic.
Harry contemplated for a moment, a somber expression on his face. He skipped another rock across the water before answering, "It was... strange. I mean, I never knew them, but standing there, knowing that's where they rest, it brought up a lot of emotions."
Y/N nodded, her gaze fixed on the distant horizon. "I can imagine."
"When our mom—..." Harry's voice trailed off, and he glanced at Y/N, his eyes filled with a mix of emotions.
"Our mom?" Y/N interjected, staring blankly at the snow.
"Sorry, I meant when Amaryllis passed away," Harry clarified, his tone hushed, his foot absentmindedly kicking at the snow.
Y/N heaved a sigh, her discomfort evident. "I should probably go and assist Hermione with, um, some tasks," she stated casually, shoulders shrugging as she began to walk away, leaving Harry behind with a bewildered expression.
Harry watched Y/N walk away, her sudden change of subject leaving him slightly confused. He couldn't help but wonder about her family and the emotions tied to her mother's death. Harry's thoughts drifted back to his own losses, and he continued to gaze at the frozen river, deep in contemplation, with a heavy heart.

Hermione sat next to a tree, her feet huddled and enveloped in a blanket, engrossed in the book Dumbledore had given her. Aurora, Seraphina, and Sophie had already fallen asleep in the tent after setting it up.
A soft voice broke through her concentration. "You okay?"
Startled, Hermione looked up to see Y/N sitting down next to her. "Y/N," she breathed, a warm smile gracing her lips. "Yeah, I'm alright."
