Y/N's anger blazed within her, evident in the fiery glare she shot at Bellatrix, whose grip held her and Harry firmly. Her hair pulled taut, head forced back, every fiber of her being seethed with anger, hate, and disdain. The smug look on Xex's face didn't help one bit.
Beside Draco stood Evangeline and the Crimson twins, their expressions stoic and detached. Y/N's gaze pierced through them with searing animosity, gibing at the fact that they couldn't even look her in the eyes properly.
"Well?" Bellatrix's voice dripped with anticipation as she yanked Harry's hair, revealing his scar. Next, her fingers pried open Y/N's eyelids, exposing her crimson orbs.
"I can't say for certain," Draco murmured.
"Look closer, son," Lucius urged.
Y/N's eyes swept the room, lingering on familiar faces. Caspian, Draco, Lucius, Agil, Evangeline, Axel, Xex. Each one met her gaze, and in that moment, they were all the same to her—fucking traitors.
Caspian's forceful shove propelled Agil forward, his words dripping with indictment. "You loved your sister, didn't you? Speak!"
Y/N's scowl deepened, her body tensing as she attempted to rise, only to be forcefully restrained by Bellatrix, who yanked her hair as a punishment for moving without permission.
A pained groan escaped Y/N's lips as Agil, visibly struggling to maintain composure, drew nearer. With a solemn expression, she knelt before Y/N, studying her sister's face as if it were her last chance to do so.
"I'm sorry," Agil whispered, her words fragile, intended solely for Y/N's ears.
Y/N's gaze remained fixed, her silence a rejection that only broke her dear younger sister's heart more. With a heavy heart, Agil retreated and nodded solemnly, confirming that it was, in fact, the real Y/N and Harry.
Each teenager, one by one, studied the features of Harry and Y/N, their expressions solemn as they nodded in confirmation. Draco, the last to examine them, hesitated, his gaze shifting uneasily between the two.
"What's wrong with his face?" Draco muttered, a hint of disgust evident in his tone as he scrutinized Harry's features.
"Something he picked up in the forest, I reckon," Lucius speculated, his expression unreadable.
"Or perhaps a Stinging Jinx," Bellatrix interjected, her gaze flickering towards Hermione with suspicion. "Did you have a hand in this, dearie?"
Y/N's muscles tensed, a surge of protective anger rising within her as Bellatrix approached Hermione, her eyes narrowing as she scrutinized the Gryffindor's appearance. A small gasp escaped Bellatrix's lips as something seemed to catch her attention.
"What's this?" Bellatrix's eyes flickered down to the Snatcher's bag, where the Sword of Gryffindor lay.
"It was in her bag when we searched her. Figured it's mine now," the Snatcher remarked casually, unaware of how important it was.
