2. An explanation

"Get down here now!" Gally yelled.

"Never!" I yelled back.

" what is happening here?" a dark haired boy asked.

"The new girl refuses to come down, it's awesome" answered a young boy.

"Have you tried talking to her" the dark haired boy asked.

They weren't talking so loud, I almost couldn't here them.

"She kinda hates Gally and won't go near him, and she seems like she doesn't like us either" the blonde said

"Good luck making her listen to you" another boy said

"Umm, excuse me. Girl, can we talk?" The dark haired boy asked me

I looked down and nodded, there was a lot of boys looking up at me expecting me to come down, but I didn't, I just waited for him to come up.
When he finally came up just looked at him.

"What do you want, why can't i remember, and who are you?" I asked

"I know you have a lot of questions, first of, my name is Thomas and you are in what we call the glade, outside that wall is the maze. No one goes in there, and don't worry none of us can remember our past" he explained

"Well that's nice to know" I said sarcastically

"You'll remember your name in a day or two" ha said.

I looked at him, I hadn't taken a proper look at him before since I was busy running away. He looked familiar, like I had seen him before, before all this. But he just told me that no one could remember anything from their past so if I said it, he would tell the others and they would think that I'm special and-

"You look familiar" he interrupted my thoughts

"Well I do actually remember one thing... you" I said.

There was silence for a bit, I didn't quite know what to say and it seemed that neither did Thomas.

"Are you coming down now or what?" The blonde yelled

We both stuck our head out and nodded, and climbed down from the tree house.
When I got down, everybody was looking straight at me like they had never seen a girl before in their life, but I just shook it off since Thomas just told me that none of them had any memories from before this, meaning that they couldn't remember ever seeing a girl.

"I'm guessing Tommy told you about the glade didn't he? My name is Newt by the way, I'm the second in command" the blonde asked.

"Yes he told me a bit, like how we're not supposed to go outside those walls and that I will remember my name in a day or two" I answered.

"Good, tomorrow we're gonna find a job for you here but today you're gonna have fun, and tonight is there gonna be bonfire so you better be excited" Newt said
