Friday, at 4:29. I woke up to the sound of notifications coming from my phone. It was Kelly spamming me with thousands of messages. What a beautiful way of waking up.

-Now texting: Kelly 🫶🏼-

Me: Omg, what do you want? You just woke me up 😭

Kelly 🫶🏼: OLIVIA IT'S ALMOST 5 PM HOW TF ARE YOU STILL ASLEEP?? GET READY THE CONCERT IS IN 2 HOURS GIRL!

My eyes widened as I saw her message.

« FUCK, THE CONCERT, I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT! » I exclaimed closing my phone and running to the bathroom.

How could I even manage to forget a concert anyway? I washed my face and put on a ghoulette cosplay for the show. It looked so realistic that it made me look as if I was actually a ghoulette from the band. I then decided to post a picture on Instagram because why not?

"Nameless.ghoul._ : Going to the ritual with this fit, what do you guys think?" The bio said.

In just a few minutes, my post already had many likes and also a few comments from people telling me that my ghoulette fit was pretty. Had to expect it, honestly. After texting Kelly, I was ready, I put my phone in my pocket and walked towards the front door.

« Where do you think you are going, Olivia? » I heard my mother say in a very serious voice.

«I'm going to a concert with my friend.» I answered as I froze in place.

My mother was a very strict woman... Honestly, I could've wished for a better mother because she never supported me at all. When it came to going out with friends, she sometimes stopped me as she said that Kelly wasn't a good friend. Did she even know better than ruin my life?

« Certainly not in that outfit, young lady! » She said, pointing her finger at me.

« Listen, I'm an adult. I can do what I want, and it's certainly not you that's gonna stop me. » I said before opening the door and quickly closing it behind me to not hear my mother shout at me.

I soon spotted Kelly parked in the street in front of my house, waiting for me in the car with her boyfriend, Mick. I ran to her car and opened the back door. She and her boyfriend also had their ghoul costumes on. They looked just as good as me.

« Heyy! » I said as I sat in the back and smiled at Kelly and Mick.

« HI OLIII!! » She exclaimed, energetic as always. « My boyfriend is coming with us, I hope you don't mind..? Sorry, I didn't tell you before, I didn't think about it. » Kelly said.

« It's okay with me, don't worry. » I said.

After a good 20 minutes of listening to Ghost songs on full volume, we arrived at our destination. Kelly grabbed my hand and Mick's hand and dragged us inside the stadium that Ghost was going to play in. After getting in, Kelly dragged us through the many people that were already there until we got to the very front of the pit. She actually just... pushed everyone out of the way? This girl really didn't hold back, huh.

« I'M SO EXCITED OH MY GOD!! » Kelly exclaimed.

I, honestly, couldn't contain my excitement either. Mick wasn't all that excited. He did love Ghost, but he just came with us because Kelly begged him to. He was just going to record the whole thing for his girlfriend to have memories of this, what she says, is going to be a life-changing event.

Soon enough, the band playing first was starting their show, and as soon as it was over, the staff were setting up the stage for Ghost.

As he lights shut down, and 'Imperium' started playing, Kelly was holding my hand so strong that I could've sworn she had broken it. Kelly and I were obviously freaking out. We were literally at the front of the stage, only a few meters away from our idols. 'Imperium' soon ended, and as everything went silent, Sodo started playing 'Kaisarion', his shadow visible on the curtain right before it fell, and Kelly and I started screaming loudly.

As the concert went on, it was now Ritual that was being played. Sodo noticed us and threw a guitar pick at us, gesturing to the horns of his mask at the same time as if he liked our costumes. I caught it and put it in my pocket as I was literally fangirling. Again, a few songs later, I had my moment with Sodo during Mummy dust. He held out his hand towards me, and I was trying so hard to reach it, but we were sadly too far away.

Kelly and I had lost our voices from all the screaming at this point. After the ritual ended, I headed to the exit, followed by Kelly and Mick. Kelly had to go to the washroom, but knowing her, she was going to take so long. Plus, leaving her alone to go back to the car was a bad idea since she was obviously gonna get lost. Mick decided to wait outside the washrooms for her while I headed to the car that was in the parking lot.

Before Kelly went to the washroom, we stopped to buy some merch, that cost a solid 500$ in total, but it was worth it. Kelly and I tried them on in the washroom, and after that, we put our Ghoulette outfit back on.

This took so much time that as I headed to Kelly's car, the last car in the parking lot was leaving. The sound of my footsteps echoed in the parking lot. (I'm talking about those parking lots under the stadium or underground parking lots or something 😀) When I got to the car, I put my the stuff that I had bought in the backseat of the car and closed the door as I leaned against the car while waiting for Kelly and Mick to come back. As I took off the mask of my costume, I heard footsteps coming toward me. I placed the mask on top of the car and looked behind me, thinking it was Kelly and Mick.

It wasn't them.

It was only one person, a ghoul, to be more specific. I recognized him as Aether. The ghoul stopped right next to me and smiled... Oh God, I felt like I was going to faint right here, right now... (BEFORE THE DEVIL)
