「𝑶𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒂'𝒔 𝒑𝒐𝒗」

By 12:30, I was in my room, getting ready to leave. Since it was getting cold outside, I had a coat on. I was wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, baggy jeans, black boots, and a leather jacket.

When I was ready, I texted Kelly, telling her I was leaving the house. She said that she was already on her way when I texted her, so I immediately left the house because I didn't want her to wait too long for me. I arrived there a few minutes after her. As soon as she saw me, she ran towards me and hugged me without asking.

« WHEN I TELL YOU I WAS SO FRICKING SAD WHEN YOU TEXTED ME THAT YOU WERE GONNA LEAVE IN A WEEK OH MY GOD » She exclaimed as she continued hugging me.

« I'm sad too, but let's not think too much about it. Let's start walking! » I suggested.

Kelly agreed, and we started walking in the woods. We kept talking about random things. We were having so much fun together that we didn't even see the time go by. When I checked the time on my phone, it was already 7 PM. I was so dumb for not even noticing that the sun was setting.

« Kelly, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to leave. But you can tomorrow, right? » I asked.

« Yes! I can every day this week! You're lucky! » She said while chuckling.

« Good! Let's go back then. » I said as we started to walk back to our houses.

When I got back home, I didn't even have time to take off my books and coat, and Sodo was already asking me where I was. After all, I didn't tell anyone I was leaving, so I wasn't all that surprised they were looking for me. But Sodo? I was surprised that HE was looking for ME.

« Where were you? I couldn't find you anywhere, I was worried! » He said, going completely quiet by the end of his sentence.

« You were worried? About me? » I asked, surprised and confused.

« Uhhh, no..? That's not what I said... I just wanted to... ask you something. » He said, trying to lie about it.

« Well, anyways, I was with Kelly. Since we're leaving soon, I'm gonna spend the last week with her. » I explained.

« Oh, can I come, maybe one day before we leave? She's fun to be with. » He said.

Well, he didn't seem to find her THAT fun... He was making up an excuse to be with me, wasn't he?

« Yeah, of course. You can even come tomorrow if you want to. » I answered.

« Really? Cool... » He quietly said before walking away just like that.

I watched him walk away. For some reason, my eyes couldn't leave him. I quickly snapped out of it and took off my boots before heading to my room to change into comfier clothes. I was sitting in my bed at 2 AM, and I couldn't sleep at all. I was tired, but every time I tried to sleep, it looked like I wasn't. I had nothing to do just sitting in my bed, so I left my room and went into the living room. I looked out the window and saw how clear the sky was, no clouds or anything blocking the view. All I saw were stars. I was so concentrated on looking at the sky that I didn't even notice someone was calling my name.

« Neptune..?? » A familiar voice said, not sounding curious nor concerned. Just... normal.

« Hmh? Sodo, what are you doing up this late? » I asked as I turned my head to see him standing next to the couch.

« I don't know, I just woke up. » He said, shrugging. « But why are YOU up at this time? » He then asked as sat next to me.

« I can't sleep. » I answered as if it was obvious in a way.

« Why? » He then asked.

« I don't know, it happened like three times this month. » I answered.

« That's weird. » He said.

« How is it weird? » I asked.

« I don't know, I don't even know why I said that. Do you think it's insomnia? » He asked out of nowhere.

I took some time to think about it and shrugged as I wasn't so sure about it.

« The sky is so pretty tonight. » He then said as he started looking out the window.

I nodded in response and smiled under my mask. For some reason, I started to remember when I first got here and how Sodo used to be mean to me and hated me. Now he was friendly with me, guess he got used to me being here. Maybe he was mean to me because he had never seen me before and didn't trust me. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Sodo say my name.

« Neptune, I've been calling your name like 5 times. Are you even alive? » He asked.

« Huh? Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry, I was lost in my thoughts. » I answered, a bit embarrassed.

« Anyways, I... ... Never mind, good night. » He said, getting up.

« Wait! What were you about to say? » I quickly asked before he walked back to his room.

« It's nothing. » He answered as he left the room.

I raised a brow as he walked away. It annoyed me when people didn't finish their sentences and didn't even say what they were about to say, like, I want to know goddamn. I continued looking out of the window and eventually started to feel tired. I went back to my room and fell asleep this time. It was complicated, not gonna lie...
