Chapter Thirteen// I killed someone

~Rose~

Saphira followed me all the way back home with her two babies in my arms. Andras and- well I don't have a name for the other one just yet but for now I will call it kaida. It's means little dragon in Japanese mythology. Yes I studied the books.

The dragons hopped around in my arms. One sat on my shoulder and the other laid in my arms.

Andras had a lot more energy than the other. While kaida was more relaxed and Kaida wasn't feisty like Andras.

He already had a little attitude. For example when I told him her couldn't fly away when he tried to jump from my shoulder. He growled but it was more of a cute little purr and crawled down my leg and back towards his mother.

I felt bad but he was just too small. I didn't want him hurting himself. Just own torn wing and it was over. He reminded me so much of Saphira when she born. Feisty and unable to stay still. Always wanting to be the center of my attention.

Andras had watched me from afar with a angry look in his eyes. I had laughed and smoke swirled from his nostrils in anger. I simple shook my head and looked down at kaida who was sleeping peacefully.

I didn't know if Kaida and Andras were boys or a girls yet.

As we emerged from the bushes with my laugher filling the air as Andras shuffled around on my shoulder, playfully biting his sibling on the head. In a instant my sweet laughter slowly died as I looked out towards the front of the palace and saw the familiar gold and blue carriage rolling up towards the palace Gates.

People had stopped to stare as a beautiful women with long golden brown hair and Emerald green eyes appeared from the carriage.

Two men followed behind her as she made her way towards the gates. Going to talk to the guards stationed outside of them.

Quickly I turned back towards Saphira and gently set Andras and Kaida down onto her back.
She purred thankfully. 

I felt suddenly happy to know princess Alicent was back. I needed to go see her. Maybe it wasn't a need but a want.

Alicent Intrigued me in a way. I wanted to figure her out. I had yet to do so and now that she was back and would potential be my wife I think it would be a perfect time to star....

Wait- oh shit. The marriage alliance. I totally forgot. Fuck!

"I have to go baby but I will back okay" I kiss Saphira and the two babies on the head. Andra made a puking sound as he scrambled away from me. Kaida just purred and instantly fell asleep. What a cutie.

I let out a sigh and left Saphira at the edge of the woods. Rushing back into the castle from the backside and towards the front where two men informed me of the new arrival.

"Queen Alicent my lady" the guard said as he pulled aside the double doors to the castle. Revealing Queen Alicent who stood in the middle of her two guards. Green floraldress, hair pinned behind her and a crown on top of her head.

I rarely wore my crown but at this moment I wish I was wearing it.

Alicent smirked and bowed
"Queen Rose" I didn't bow in return. She wasn't a Queen. Only a princess. Plus If I do not want to bow then I do not have to.

Alicent made me feel the need to disrespect her but also obey her. It turned me on.

I stepped aside from the entry way and made a motion with my hand "Princess Quintell lovely to see you again, I didn't think I would"

Alicent chuckled and walked the few stairs towards me. Red carpet under her feet. Her dress bunched in her hands to avoid stepping on the expensive fabric "Yes well it's been a— well never mind just be glad in here now" she said
