''I want that essay on my desk on Monday!'' McGonagall shouted as we started packing our things.

''What do you wanna do today, Pans?'' I asked as we were exiting the classroom.

''Dunno. All I can think about is food, I'm so hungry!'' she said as she licked her lips probably dreaming about the pumpkin puffs we had last week.

We ate like 40 of them...

''Yeah, same. Let's just go to lunch and meet the group there,'' I suggested as we passed another corridor down the castle.

''Sounds perfect,'' she smiled.

As we continued to stroll down the corridors, I couldn't help but lose track of our path. The endless hallways all seemed eerily similar to me, and a growing unease settled in.

''Uhm, Pansy, are we getting closer to the Great Hall? Because I'm just blindly following you here,'' I said nervously.

''Are you serous? I was just blindly following you!'' she laughed.

''No, you didn't. Why would you do that?'' I stopped and gave her a disbelieving look.

Pansy nonchalantly shrugged, "I just zoned out."

Is she for real?

I couldn't believe it. I closed my eyes, threw my head back, and silently hoped this was just a joke. I really didn't want to spend another afternoon lost in Hogwarts' maze-like corridors.

''Pansy, I've literally been here like a few week, for Merlin's sake, I have no idea how this freaking castle works!'' I mid-shouted annoyed while rolling my eyes and looking around. ''Okay, we came from there-,'' I tried to compose myself as I pointed back in the direction we had come from, trying to navigate us.

''Bloody Salazar, babe, chill out!'' Pansy leaned against the wall. ''I kinda forgot you are new, so sorry about that, but don't worry; I'm sure we can find someone who will help.''

''Mhm sure and how do you think that will work?'' I asked, crossing my arms and joining her against the wall.

She giggled mischievously, ''some students actually seek out the abandoned corridors.''

''Huh? Why would they do that-' I began to question, but our conversation was abruptly interrupted by a loud moan echoing down the corridor.

Pansy and I exchanged amused glances before bursting into laughter.

''See, there's always someone,'' Pansy said, wiping away tears of laughter as we still continued giggling about this absurd situation we were in.

"What now?" I asked, fidgeting with my fingers. I was getting hungry, and I couldn't understand why Pansy was so calm about being lost.

"We just wait for them to finish, or do you want to just walk in there and demand directions back to the Great Hall?" Pansy said sarcastically.

Right on cue, the doors on the right started to open.

"Thank Merlin, they didn't take long," Pansy said as she started walking towards the door.

"Oh, Drakey! I hope we can see each other tomorrow! What are your plans for tomorrow? Can we see each other tomorrow?" Lavender from Gryffindor emerged from the classroom.

Who the hell is Drakey?

"I told you I'm busy," Malfoy said as he opened the door fully, revealing himself and giving us a 'what the fuck are you doing here' look.

"Oh, uhm, hi girls!" Lavender smiled awkwardly, reaching out to hug us.

She's so pure. She shouldn't be messing around with Malfoy.
