Chapter 12

Y/N POV:
She started talking to me about Arsenal, but I wondered why was this relevant, as she finished talking to me about Arsenal and getting a place in the U16 at just 14, I was screaming in my head. But I wondered how I would get to the training ground and back if my parents even let me go.

Katie McCabe POV:
After I told her the news she smiled and her eyes lit up but soon the smile appeared it was gone, I wonder what was going through her head right now?

Y/N POV:
Katie was giving me a questionable look, and I realised that the smile disappeared as soon as it came across my face. I faintly smiled at her to signal that I was alright but she didn't seem too convinced.

After I gave her a faint smile I had so many thoughts going through my head wondering if the coaches and managers will even think I'm good enough when or if I go there, and what about my parents they probably won't let me go if they have to pay.

Katie McCabe POV:
As she gave me a slight smile, trying to convince me she's alright but I wasn't too sure on it. She looked like there was thoughts going hundreds of miles an hour through her head.

We soon said our goodbyes and I decided to offer her a ride home, but this time to my surprise she gladly accepted. She told me roughly where she lived or where she wanted me to drop her off at.

As we got closer to the drop off point for her she kept checking her phone frantically looking at the time, it was as if something terrible was going to happen if she was not home at a certain point in time.

As we approached where she wanted me to drop her off she thanked me and quickly got out and it looked like she was running to her house. I felt like it was creepy but I had to know if she got home safe so I sent her a message telling her to text me when she got home.

Y/N POV:
As I ran as quickly as humanly possible I checked my phone for the time and I saw a message from Katie, I wonder what it could say.
