Y/N POV:
As Katie was leaving my parents car was just arriving so I tried to rush her off and thankfully she got the hint and left. I walked back inside and saw she sent me a message reminding me about the trial and when it was. I was terrified it was only a week away and that she didn't even know if my parents would even let me go, and if they did there was no way of getting there unless I ask Katie to take me but that might be a bit awkward.I could hear my parents walking into the house, as they weren't being very quiet.
Katie POV:
I wonder why she was rushing me out but I didn't want to push her too much so I decided to let it go and not question it too much. As I got in my car I messaged her quickly reminding her about the trial in a week.Y/N POV:
I heard my parents storm up the stairs and they flung my door open and started screaming at me and hitting me, all I could do was just accept it or it would just be worse. This went on for about 2 hours, finally when they were finished they told me that if I came out my room anytime except for school I would be punished and I knew that it wouldn't be the normal torture it would be over 3 times the pain. As I was in quite a lot of pain I decided to take some painkillers, and hope for the best. I fell asleep about 30 minutes after taking them, I was just wishing at that moment I would never wake up again.I woke up at early hours in the morning (about 4am) and decided to get up and start getting ready for the day, so I could leave before my parents even got up.
Katie POV:
I still have no answer from Y/N and she hasn't even marked it as read, I know I shouldn't overthink this but I couldn't help it, I was worried as I saw what the state of her house was. I know I shouldn't judge her, but the walls having blood on them, what explanation could justify that.
