(A week later, the morning of the trial)
Y/N POV:
I answered Katie's message this morning and accepted the trial for Arsenal U16, I was a bit nervous about asking her to pick me up but I had no other choice if I wanted to go. It was about 7 in the morning, I struggled to sleep so much as I was so nervous. I started to get ready for the trial at about 8 ish, I decided to put on my arsenal top that took over a year for me to save up and buy, but I finally got it just over a month ago.
(An hour later, it is 9:50)
Katie was picking me up in 10 minutes so I decided to wait outside for her so she doesn't see anything more and doesn't see my parents.
Katie POV:
It was about 7 am when Y/N messaged me saying that she was happy to do the trial and if it was okay for me to pick her up. I agreed to pick her up at about 10. I did wonder why her parents couldn't take her but I didn't want to get all in her business.
At about 9:30 I left so I was a bit early to pick her up as I knew where her house was but was a bit uncertain about the exact way there, so I was just being extra cautious, which wasn't like me.
After about 20 minutes of driving I finally got to her house to see her already waiting for me to pick her up even though I said I would pick her up at 10 and it was 9:50.
Y/N POV:
I saw Katie's car pulling up into my road about 10 minutes early than she originally said. Thankfully I was already waiting outside for her so she didn't have to come inside or just see inside my house again, even though she has already been inside I'm still a bit nervous of people seeing what my parents do to me and the state of the house.
