Ni-ki stood in the shower, letting the hot water soak him as his clothes all got wet. He didn't care, as his head was too overwhelmed with the weight of his own thoughts.

As the water cascaded over him, Ni-ki couldn't help but feel numb and empty inside. He felt like he was being dragged down into an abyss, and he was struggling to keep afloat.

He let the water run over his body, as his thoughts ran wild in his head. He was trying to wash away the pain and confusion yet he couldn't help but feel hopeless.

Ni-ki turned off the shower and stepped out, feeling the cool air on his skin. He wrapped a towel around himself and walked out, feeling drained and exhausted.

His clothes were all wet, but he didn't care. He didn't care to put on dry clothes and he didn't care to change. He just wanted to rest, and he wanted his mind to be quiet.

He walked over to the bed and fell onto it. He pulled the covers over himself and curled up in bed, hoping that his worries and troubles would somehow go away.

Should he trust his parent's words?They would never ever lie to him for sure but the information he got from his parents were truly shocking and bone chilling.

"Why did she do that and caused everyone misery..?"

Ni-ki couldn't help but wonder because in his eyes she was someone admirable.

He couldn't understand the reason for it, and couldn't help but feel frustrated and confused.

He wondered why she couldn't see how her actions were hurting the people around her.

He was starting to question whether admire her as much as he used to, and whether she was truly someone worthy of admiration.

His parents' words flashed back into his mind as he lets out a deep sigh.

"Ni-ki you need to protect them from the monsters lurking around them son" Mr.Nishimura pats his shoulders gently "I was a part of this whole thing yet I failed to protect my friend Son..please don't be like me".

How could he protect them when he himself also needed protection and resurrection?At this kind of time he would normally open up to her but she was someone who he needed to protect from now on.

"Will I be able to protect you guys..?" Ni-ki's hands went to his pockets,his hands searching for the Polaroid but his pockets were empty causing him to stand up from his bed in shock.

"The Polaroid.."

"Shit!?"

Minji groans,rolling her eyes to the back at the smiling boy who was nodding at her rant with a dazed look.

"Our senior Minhee cheated on his girlfriend but his girlfriend also cheated on him with the pe teacher and the pe teacher is married and his wife is our principle"

"You were listening very well, I see" Minji chuckles in satisfaction,ruffling his hair.

"You look very pretty today..." Jungwon mutters under his breath,looking up to her innocently.

"Thanks man—" Minji choked on air at the sudden compliment, making Jungwon worried as he softly patted her back.

"Are you okay?"

"Hey why are you acting so—oh my gosh ugh" Minji murmurs,holding the urge to smile ear to ear.

"Oh right you promised me how to play games on your pc today!" Minji's eyes lit up,remembering the reason why she was in his room in the first place.
