Jake needed to talk to her, but he didn't know what to say. He just knew that he couldn't lose her.

He tried calling her phone multiple times, but she didn't pick up. Jake felt his heart pounding in his chest as he imagined all the worst-case scenarios.

What if she was ignoring him on purpose? What if she had given up on him? What if she came to hate him after what he did?

Jake couldn't bear the thought of it.

He called again and again, hoping to get a response, but he was met with silence each time.

He started to panic as the minutes ticked by, his mind racing with thoughts of the future without Suzy.

He didn't know what he would do without her.

Eventually, the phone rang again, and Jake's heart leapt with hope.

He quickly answered it, his voice shaking as he spoke.

"Suzy, are you there?" He waited for a response, his heart racing with anticipation. But there was only silence on the other end of the line.

Jake poured out his apology over the phone, "Suzy, I don't know what to say. I'm so sorry for what I did. I don't know why I did it, but it was wrong. I'll never do anything like that again, I promise. Please, love , just give me another chance. I can't lose you."

But from the other side of the call, all Jake could hear was silence. Suzy didn't speak, didn't react.

She just stayed silent, as if she was waiting for him to finish.

Jake felt his heart sink, afraid that his words were falling on deaf ears.

Suzy stayed silent on the other end of the call, her breathing steady and even.

Jake's heart sank as he realized just how much he had hurt her. He never meant to hurt her, not like this.

Tears streamed down Jake's face as he begged for her forgiveness. "Please, Suzy, I love you. I'll do anything to make things right again. Please, just give me another chance."

Suzy's silence felt like an eternity to Jake. He didn't know what to do, how to make things better. He just knew that he would die if he lost her.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Suzy spoke. Her voice was calm and quiet, but Jake could hear pain and disappointment in her voice.

"Jake look you really disappointed me last night with your accusations..I thought you'd know me better than that" Suzy let out a sigh,the sound of water being poured into a glass could be heard as Jake gulped,nodding.

"I choose you to be my lover because I actually fell in love with you not because—-you know what nevermind"

"Reflect on yourself for what you did Sim Jaeyun..I'll get going now"

"Love wait—-"

Just like that,she ended the call as Jake bites his lower lips as he throws his phone at the wall,screaming as he was so mad at himself.

"Sim Jaeyun you fucking asshole!"

She pulled her phone out of her pocket,looking at the screen to see it was Jungwon calling her.
