Y/n's pov:
"Good morning love." I rolled over to see my loving husband of 4 years, adorably stare back at me. "Good morning Jack." I kissed his forehead and got up to get ready for the day. "Hey can you go to the store and get a couple things for breakfast and ice for later?" I heard grumbles coming from the room and a yeah. "What do I get?" I shrugged not knowing what he wanted for breakfast. "What do you want for breakfast? We can have pancakes, French toast, waffles or bagel sandwiches? Up to you." Jack looked like a little kid trying to decide what he wanted more. "Are you fine with French Toast?" He hugged me from behind and leaned into my shoulder. "Yes that's fine, amor. Just buy bread, strawberries and a couple snacks for later too please." Jack nodded and walked out of the restroom. "Jack." "Yes?" He peaked his head into the doorway. "Don't forget the ice." He nodded crossing his heart making fun of me. "Yes your royal highness." I smacked his arm and pushed him out of the bathroom. Finishing my morning routine, I walked over to our 2 year old daughters room. She just started sleeping by herself and last night she had me up all night. "Oliviaaa? Mi amor wake up!" Olivia rolled over from her position to lay on her back and smiled up at me. "Mum!" She reached out for me to carry her. "Yes my baby! What do you want to eat?" I walked to the kitchen with Olivia on my hip as I took out the ingredients for the French toasts. "Is uncle Luke and uncle Quinn coming over?" I think it's cute how much Olivia loves them even thought she rarely see them. "Yes they are, as well as grandma and grandpa!" She clapped her hands but gasped when she heard the door open. "Dada!" Olivia reached her hands out for Jack to carry her. "My baby!" I helped Jack with the bag and started taking everything out onto the counter. "Hold up I have to get the ice." Jack set Olivia down but she followed him to the garage. I was putting the snacks away when I heard Olivia's tiny footsteps come back. "Jack how many do you want?" I turned around to see Jack holding flowers and Starbucks in his hands. "Jack, what's this for?" I took the flowers and set down the Starbucks. "Just me showing how much I appreciate you and how much I love you." I hugged him tightly. "I love you too Jack." Olivia came running into the kitchen with a Jersey in her hand. "Mama!" She held it up so I took it. "Where did you get this Olivia?" I turned the Jersey around and saw that it was a mini version of Jacks jersey. "Surprise? She can wear that now when she comes to my games!" He immediately put it on Olivia and held her up smiling. "Tell me she doesn't look cute!" I couldn't help but laugh. "Yes she does look cute. Say thank you to daddy." She kissed his cheek and ran to put the Jersey in her room. "Mmm I love you so much, you know that?" Jack began to think saying hmm every 5 seconds. "No because I love you more." I shook my head at how childish he is. "Go cut the strawberries please." I made Jack and Olivia breakfast but I only had a smoothie to hold me down till later. "Mmm thank you mommy." Olivia attempted to put her dish on the counter but failed as it almost fell on her face. "It's ok baby I got it." I put the dish in the sink and washed it. "Go pick out what you want to wear!" She ran to her room while i cleaned up the kitchen. "I'll clean go get ready. I know how much you love when my mom complements your hair or outfit." How did he know? Was I that obvious? "I don't know what your talking about." "Y/n, I pay attention to the little things that make you smile. And I know for a fact that any complement from her makes you happy." Jack wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him. "Ok but please clean good and don't just throw the plates then quickly close the door." "I-" "Don't even try to deny it." He gives me a look of defeat before letting go of me.
(2 hours later)
"Jack hurry up and change before they get here." He was on the couch playing with Olivia in his pjs. "Ok ok." Just then the doorbell rings and I can hear voices on the other side before I open it. "Hey!" I greet everyone and let them in. Luke sat next to Olivia and began to play with her. "Hey y/n, I love your hair!" I thanked Luke but didn't realize Jack heard and saw us. "Quinn! Long time no see huh?" He hugged me back, agreeing. "Yes, it's been to long. I've missed you and my niece!" I could see Jim and Hellen walking up our drive way. "Y/n! Oh how great it is to see you after so long. And your hair, it's always so beautiful!" I hugged her back and hugged Jim. "Yes it's been to long I missed everyone and thank you!" We we're all sat in the living room watching the 49's vs eagles game. "Who plays this week?" Quinn asked confused when Jack gives him the whole schedule. Quinn wasn't much of a huge sports guy but he did love hockey. When I met him he was quiet and seemed like a nice guy but once I got to know him more, he was more of a sweetly open person. We really bonded over our love for Nirvana. He told me Jack and Luke would make fun of him for listening to "emo" music. Now Jack doesn't say anything but listens to it when I play it. "I believe it's the Chiefs vs Packers, Dolphins vs Commanders, Lions vs Saints, Panthers vs Buccaneers, Cardinals vs Steelers and Falcons vs Jets." Jack nodded his head before getting up to grab a water. "Wow you really do know your football." I shrugged not really caring because there are plenty other woman who could tell you stats like a man would. "Learned from my dad! Any sport, I know." "Mm about time Jack let go of the empty headed blondes." Luke laughed, pulling me to his side. "Luke don't even, it's been 5 months that you've been here in Jersey. Where's ur girlfriend at? Not even talking to one?" Jack went off claiming Luke shouldn't talk because he "pulls no bitches", to which I slapped his arm. "If you weren't cute and didn't drop that fuck boy personality, we wouldn't be here. So quiet and watch the game." Quinn laughed picking up Olivia. "I have a surprise for her, we'll be back." They walked out the door and a couple minutes later Olivia came running in with a bag. "MOM I GOT A DOLL! MOM!!" She came running into my arms and asked me to help her open the box. It was an American girl doll but it looked identical to her. "Quinn how'd u find one? We've checked everywhere and nothing?" He scratched his neck and smiled. "I had it customized to look like her and with her favorite things as accessories to go with the doll. It arrived last month but I wasn't able to come so I saved it." Olivia ran up to him and hugged him thanking him. "Thank you, uncle Quinn! Thank you thank you thank you!" He picked her up on his hip and kissed her cheek. "Anything for my favorite niece." He put her down and she ran to her room to grab her other dolls to play with the new one. "Thank you, she'll be playing with it all day." I hugged him and walked to the kitchen. I grabbed a couple sodas and waters with snacks on a board then took it to the living room. "I have snacks and drinks, if you need anything feel free to just go grab it." I put the board on the coffee table and sat next to Jack. He put his arm around me and pulled me closer. "Niners or eagles?" "Mmmm niners." He nuzzled and kissed my neck. "Good choice." During halftime, Olivia came back into the living room with a tiara and her dolls. "Uncle Luke can you play with me please?" She gave him puppy dog eyes and he just smiled. "Yes of course." She handed him the extra tiara and he hesitated but she forced it on him. Jack took out his phone and snapped a picture of them playing. "Ay Jack, you're so mean." I slap his leg and shake my head. "What? It's funny!" He laughed and we continued to watch the game.
(After the game)
"What did I say? Ninersssss." Jack rolled his eyes and pulled me into a kiss. "My wife is so smart." "I know I am." We got up and I took the snack board into the kitchen then walked back to the living room. "Y/n, honey I'll see you soon! Thank you for having us!" I hug Ellen back and Jim. "No problem, I'll be here." Quinn was still on the couch and Luke got up from the floor. "Sorry Olivia but I have to go." She frowned but let him go. "Thank you, I'll see you tomorrow." I hugged him and closed the door. "So Quinn what time do you plan on leaving?" I teased him and he looked up from his phone. "Oh sorry could I take Olivia to this doll store a couple minutes from here? I saw it on the way over here, they sell a bunch of stuff for her doll." "Yeah of course, just be careful."
Quinn picked her up and she said bye before walking out the door. "So we have the house to ourselves." I got closer to Jack but he pressed me up against the door. "Just our luck." "She didn't make it to the car before she ran back." Olivia ran into my arms and I picked her up. "It's ok thank you though, see you soon." I gave Quinn a hug and walked into the kitchen, leaving Jack and Quinn at the door. "Olivia honey are you hungry?" She nodded and I served her the left over snacks she was killing earlier. "She really loves that cheese huh?" "Yeah she does, it's really good." I took a piece and popped it in my mouth. "Ok off to bed now." Olivia hopped off the chair and ran to her room.
After cleaning some dishes and put the food away, I walked upstairs grabbing a towel for Olivia. "Olivia honey have you gotten in the bath tub yet?" "Yes mommy!" I turned the water on and helped Olivia wash her hair. "Close your eyes." I poured water down her head to get the soap out as she scrubbed her body. She finished washing off and I turned the water off. "Ok come on, one foot out then the other one." She got out of the tub and I wrapped her in the towel. "Ok now to your room." I walked to her room and she ran giggling behind me, holding the towel. "Mommy I want to wear my pink pjs!" I opened her drawers and pulled out her hello kitty pjs. "Ok there! Now go say goodnight to dad." She ran off to find Jack and I cleaned the restroom up. "Ow ok ok lets find mommy! Y/n? Honey?" "I'm in the restroom." I hear footsteps from down the hall and walk out of the restroom.
"No Olivia, you have to go to bed. Dad and I are tired and want to go to bed too." Olivia was up again and wouldn't fall asleep. Jack read her 3 bedtime stories and she wouldn't budge. "Hey it's ok I got it. Go do what you have to." I kissed Jack and walked over to our room. Took a shower and did my skincare, I walked into our room but Jack wasn't there yet. Quietly heading towards Olivia's room, I opened the door to see them cuddling together in Olivia's bed. Watching Jack hold Olivia made me smile to myself. Deep in my thoughts, I realized that I was standing in the doorway watching my perfect little family. My amazing husband and beautiful little daughter.

This one came from a tradition that my family have where my aunt and cousins come over to watch football on Sundays and during holidays as well. So I thought why not write about it. Hope you liked it!💜
